David Bowie RANKED

David Bowie - Low
1.
100
This feels like Ziggy Stardust if he listened to Kid A and felt like making his own version of it.
David Bowie - ★ [Blackstar]
2.
100
His final speech is his most emotion al and vulnerable album, that brought up to be a marterpiece and the best gift David could gift us, and we thank him for this.
David Bowie - Hunky Dory
3.
98
Hunky Dory is one fo the best Folk influenced Rock albums of all time, it's full of personal and catchy lyrics and amazing instrumentals
David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
4.
95
The most acclaimed Bowie album is an incredible LP full of fresh pop rock cuts that represented the early 70's
David Bowie - "Heroes"
5.
95
Instead of sticking with the ambience and experimental rock of Low, Heroes feels more like a Art Rock/Krautrock influenced album, and while not being as classic and perfect as Low it's a close call
David Bowie - Station to Station
6.
93
This album represents the beggining of the most in credible stage of Bowie's career, his comeback to Europe represented a focus more on art and aesthetics than alter egos like he did earlier on this decade, and his vocals are on top
David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
7.
88
While not being as amazing as Ziggy Stardust, Alladin Sane represents a similar approach, maybe more hard-rock leaned than it's predecessor this album is still a classic.
David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World
8.
87
Bowie's hard-rock album is incredibly underrated, this album is so fun and interesting front to back, i fucking adore this album.
David Bowie - Lodger
9.
84
The last album of the Berlin Trilogy isn't as groundbreaking or amazing as the first 2, but Lodger represents once again a very interesting theme with really experimental production for the time.
David Bowie - Diamond Dogs
10.
84
Diamond Dogs represents an interesting change of pace from his 3 huge albums from the early 70's, this feels a bit harder and darker, and while it's not a personal favorite of mine, it does have great songs on the tracklist.
David Bowie - The Next Day
11.
83
His comeback was huge, it's not as memorable has Blackstar, but he's still kickin some ass on this album, a really happy and uplifting project.
David Bowie - Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)
12.
80
I really like this album, it feels like a pretty artistic and classy album, but it has one problem, it's the first time it doesn't feel like Bowie is breaking barriers since his 70's run
David Bowie - Heathen
13.
80
A very emotional and personal album, great great vocals
David Bowie - Earthling
14.
76
It's really nice, it's the most electronic album he has released by far, it has a lot of very dance-ish tunes, and it's really consistent too, it's pretty decent
David Bowie - Reality
15.
72
This feels very personal and it's honestly pretty nice! but at the same time it's pretty corny, and that's what makes Heathen the superior 2000's album
David Bowie - David Bowie [Space Oddity]
16.
67
On his second album it feels like Bowie got progressively better on his instrumentals and vocals, and finally released a consistent album, it kinda lacks emotion at some moments and it's not too amazing, but it's an improvement
David Bowie - Let's Dance
17.
63
This album shows not only an amazing adaptation and embracing of the rising electro pop scene of the early 80's, but also the exact opposite, this record shows some amazing and memorable songs, but also horrendous ones, it's very inconsistent
David Bowie - Young Americans
18.
61
I just feel like Bowie tried to experiment with American Soul tunes that were popular back then since this was the first album he released working on the USA. It ended up feeling a bit monotone tbh, but it's enjoyable at some moments
David Bowie - Black Tie White Noise
19.
58
My relationship with this album is complicated, i really like his approach and what he tried to pull, it's a very nice mix of art pop with electronic elements, definitely stands out on his discography, but i don't know, it just feels so bloated and unnecessarily long, it could've been more surprising, instead it's often boring
David Bowie - 1. Outside
20.
53
This might be the most creative and unique record Bowie released since Scary Monsters, but there's a huge problem, it's really really big, too much filler, plus i personally never got into this more horror type vibes he tried to pull
David Bowie - Tonight
21.
47
Tonight feels like an obvious follow up to Let's Dance, but while i didn't like that album i liked some of the groovy new wave influences, but this just feels like im listening to 80's poppy ballads, it's so boring and a waste of talent
David Bowie - Never Let Me Down
22.
39
I get why people hate this record, i feel like his attempt to come back to more rocky sounds like he did on the 70's after a whole decade of experimental rock, art rock and new wave albums, this Bowie just feels kinda lost on a new generation of pop rock that definitely didn't fit him as we can see
David Bowie - Hours...
23.
35
This record is basically the end of the electronic Bowie era from the 90's, and here we find David being....extremely boring over some generic alt rock instrumentals
David Bowie - David Bowie
24.
33
His debut feels like a mixed bag of very simple psychedelic folk influenced songs, it's boring, badly produced, and bland, but it's occasionally funny
