Medúlla

Definitely a contender for the strangest album in Björk’s strange discography.

The concept of human vocals taking the place of instrumentals is a really cool one, and luckily Björk was successfully able to pull it off. Wow this album is so cool. It sounds so otherworldly and off putting that I cannot help but be sucked into it. At this point it’s no surprise that Björk’s vocals are perfect, and they just fit so well with the production that I can’t help but love this awesome record. But, the album does have a fatal flaw and that is how some tracks are a little underwhelming due to them sounding less inspired than the rest of the songs, or because they just sound annoying. Other than that this album is awesome. Now I can see how a lot of people would possibly hate this thing and I don’t think it’s hard to see why. But personally, I think this album bangs!
