I keep returning to this project, it's just so incredible.
Every song is fantastic, the production is beautiful I love everything about this tape.

Nas - Illmatic
99

I used to think this album was overrated for a long time, but after listening to it enough times, it just clicks.
The production is simplistic and colorful and Nas's flow and bars are incredible, it's such a solid album front to back.

black midi - Cavalcade
91

Not as exhilarating as Hellfire but the slow parts are better.

The Weeknd - Kiss Land

It took me some time and countless listens but I am finally writing my review for this album.
This album explores many of Abel's thoughts and feelings through the Trilogy tour, whether his desire for money and fame is consuming him or dealing with the fact that he left the love of his life in Toronto to pursue the tour life.
The tracklist is incredibly consistent too, pretty much every song is incredible(except maybe Live For, which isn't even that bad), the writing is Abel's best and the ... read more

Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill
100

The production of this song is immaculate, it's so playful, immersive, and full of little details that add so much.

Radiohead - No Surprises
100

It doesn't get much better than this, literal perfection, not sure if it's the greatest song of all time but it's the most perfect you can get, there is not a single flaw through this entire track.

Swans - To Be Kind
100

This album is massive, both in length and the sound of it.
I love how a lot of the tracks on this album are built, they start with one riff and slowly add more and more instruments until they become incredibly loud and larger than life, just to be crushed down at the end, and while this is how most tracks go on this lp it never becomes boring or gets old.
The mix on this album is immaculate too, there are so many things going on yet you can hear every detail exceptionally well.
I absolutely ... read more

D'Angelo - Voodoo
100

I mean you cant hate this album, it's fun, jazzy, sexy and super enjoyable front to back.
Although this album is decently long I find myself returning to it a lot.

D'angelos death lead me to re visit his music, tbh i dont know why i never put voodoo as a10 but its better late than never i guess...
I mean its perfect, so simple and so effective, beautiful, sexy and uniqe, every person should spin this album at least one time in thier lifetime.

black midi - Hellfire
91

It feels like a rollercoaster going at the speed of light, wonderful album front to back.

Swans - The Glowing Man
98

Incredible and hypnotic all the way through, the title track is one of the best songs of all time.

Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
98

Excellent album front to back.

The Velvet Underground & Nico - The Velvet Underground & Nico
97

This album is so beautiful and hypnotic, even outside of the impact it had and how ahead of it's time this album is a masterpiece.

The Weeknd - House Of Balloons (Original)
NR

I keep returning to this project, it's just so incredble.
Every song in amazing, the prodction is beautiful I love every thing about this tape.

KIDS SEE GHOSTS - KIDS SEE GHOSTS
94

Easily Kanye's best collab album, from the hard-hitting intro to the heartfelt outro this album is a 24-minute experience, just such a great album from start to finish.

94

The concept of this album is fascinating, the production is excellent, the features level up their songs and the outro is one of Kanye's best songs.
Although sometimes the lyricism could have been better it's still one of Kanye's best albums.
The main issue if this album is that there is some filler.

Kanye West - Yeezus
94

Some of Kanye's most creative prodction, and some truly amazing songs turn out of this album.
There are some misses though and sometimes Kanye comes off as a bit corney but overall one of his best projects.

JAY-Z & Kanye West - Watch the Throne
68

Pretty decent overall but just not as impressive as Kanye's other work.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
98

One of Kanye's best-produced albums, every instrumental is so massive and larger than life, every feature is incredible and it has some of Kaney's best songs of all time.
the only thing that holds this album from being a 10 is that the last 2 tracks aren't at the same level as the rest of the album.

Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak
78

Kanye's most influential album, and the sound that Kanye was experimenting with on this LP is extremely prominent in modern pop.
Tracks 1-7 are amazing, but from there the album goes down and has some really weak and underwhelming cuts, overall this is still a great album.

Kanye West - Graduation
85

While this album has some misses(Drank and Hot Girls, Barry Bonds) pretty much everything else is amazing, sure this isn't as good as the two albums that came beforehand but it's fun and unique in its own way.

On chasethyme's review of Lil Yachty - Poland
"Taking the wock to poland is actually a metaphor for overcoming all of the obstacles that you face in life. Since wock isn’t allowed in poland lil yachty had to find a way to take it there and in doing so he rose to the challenge and exceeded all expectations once again. Never have i heard a more elegant and subtle flex in a rap song. This is pure and unadulterated poetry at its finest. Bravo Mr. Boat, Bravo. 👏"
