This is one of Kanye's albums that I don't find myself returning to very often, but after giving it a full-focused listen I was amazed at how much I was underrating this album.
The production is gorgeous, the writing is top-notch, and while there are some songs that aren't the best the album is very consistent all the way through.
I am so happy that I want back to this album and was able to appreciate it for the amazing piece of music it is.
Holy shit, what a monster of an album.
I think this is the longest album I have ever listened to, standing at 141 minutes this is not an easy listen, with that being said it doesn't feel so long, it's extremely well-paced.
It's so noisy and chaotic yet so relaxing and psychedelic.
So although I don't see myself returning to this album very often, I still think it's an amazing experience and a truly one-of-a-kind album.
This album has grown on me a lot since I listened to it first, I love how raw and isolated it sounds and it is pretty much perfect, really close to being a 10 for me and I think I need one more listen.
99>100 Yeah this thing is perfect, I have given it many listens and each time it gets better and better, truly a masterpiece.
After many listens this record became my favorite Radiohead album and one of my favorites of all time.
some good songs but Trippie's vocals feel way over the top and the writing is pretty surface level.
Great mixtape overall and was very ahead of its time, also the intro is his best song.
Catchy hooks, excellent production, great energy and performances from all the band members create a wonderful project that I find myself coming back to quiet often.
I gave this album another focused listen and it really grew off me.
The singing is ass, a lot of the songs are boring and the production(while pretty good on some songs) isn't very good either.
Outside of some songs I don't see a reason to listen to this album all the way through again.
(40->60) Ok, it's not that bad, BBNB is still better.
While Lil B's lyricism isn't anything crazy the production is incredible and Lil B's charisma and energy make this a very enjoyable project, my biggest problem with it is the length and while I get it's a mixtape and it's just him trying shit out I would prefer if it was shorter.
Overall a very enjoyable project that shows that Lil B is a very talented artist.
Based.
One of my most nostalgic albums, I used to listen to this album a lot when I was younger.
This album is just so beautiful and relaxing all the way through, probably my favorite instrumental album of all time and IMO the best album of the Growing Up volumes.
