The 1975 - Notes on a Conditional Form
May 26, 2020
NR
This really needed to be a 14 track album now with 8 or so of the songs as bonus tracks in a deluxe edition released a few months later. Not only would have made

There are good tracks in the listing here that you can put onto some playlists, but the listener really has to sift through some heavy weeds of ambient sections and filler to get to them.

The 1975 will always be a frutstrating band for me as they show they have the songwriting ability to produce well made pop and art rock tracks. Their concentration to make some concise and with a clear focus and direction through just doesn't appear to be there which ends up with a jack of all trades job like this.

If the ambient instrumental sections give you 'feels', you'll likely love this record.
