Sky Void of Stars

Katatonia really are a consistent, solid band. Despite being under the label of metal they pull in a lot more elements of heavy and hard rock in their palette, and their vocals are softer and more melodic than their contemporaries which might bring in a different kind of audience to like this record, it still has the drive and the structure that prog metal fans will love and continually come back to.

Not really much more to say, just a tip of the cap to a band that is able to deliver solid release regularly for nearly 30 years.
