***500 FOLLOWERS SPECIAL***

Thank you all so much for helping me reach 500 followers, I am so thankful for every one of you, and I never would have ever thought that I’d have had such an opportunity.

I’ve done something pretty interesting for my track scoring on this album. I’ve taken the averages of my maximum and minimum scores for each track from the first version to the final one and my personal enjoyment of each. This album was meant as a living evolving art piece, and ... read more

I remember really disliking this back in 2019 because of how overplayed it was and how boring it was. I've softened on it a little bit. While the production on the song was very off-putting to me at the time, and I still think the song can be really boring, Disclosure have an amazing knack for production. There are so many little details they add that are great and atmospheric and keep the instrumental from being too monotonous. While I don't think the song is amazing, this is probably the best ... read more

So once I had a run-in with this one guy who was a youth pastor, and from what I understand from what I've heard from other people, he was a pretty cool guy, the kids all thought he was cool at least because he played video games and not just any video games, violent ones like Call of Duty and Mortal Kombat.

The kids thought he was cool at least until, according to him, he put on Who Let the Dogs Out once, which was the first single he ever bought. The kids were not very into the song. At this ... read more

Hello friend, I'm grateful for contributing, I believe that "I'm Ready by Sam Smith, Demi Lovato" I believe it would be included well in this list. The msc even sounds a little interesting, but the repetitive chorus tires the single and makes it bad, boring, but it's still interesting.

Hi mate! I am very happy for your achievement, well deserved! :) talking about the topic of the list, I would choose "Pon De Replay" by Rihanna. At first I did not like at all this song, but with time I understood that it was the start of an awesome career!

Probably quite a weird and controversial choice, but Hoodrat off of the new Kanye album. The sample of just Hoodrat being repeated over and over, mixed with the outright horribly mixed drums and piano, along with the outright hilarious crooning from Kanye and Ty. It’s such an awful combination, but it comes together in such a weird way, that I just can’t seem to get the song out of my head, despite the fact that the song is borderline unlistenable. Also one of the funniest songs to come out in recent memory

Honestly I would say 'All That Matters' by Justin Bieber, low key became a classic for me over the years...

Sadly, I can't think of any that take this to the extreme, but a song I believe is so bad that it becomes good is Solid Wall of Sound by ATCQ. The hook and chorus is so good, but the verses just sound funky to me, but I just can't not admire it. It all comes together in a beautiful way even if it doesn't sound too appealing. It all comes together as an—uncohesive—but still beautiful piece.

Thank you for having me on this!

hi! thanks for your message. i can't really think of one apart from "think u the shit (fart)" by ice spice. i think it's objectively really bad but so catchy and addictive

Cutthroat by Imagine Dragons! Everything from the rather overdramatized songwriting to the "AAAAAA SO SCARY SCREAMO VOCALS" that the front man most likely had NO experience in culminates in an absolute disasterpiece with each second of this song. I'm gonna tell you that when I watched Brad Taste In Music preview it in a video reacting to the bands' Mercury Act 2 to give the viewers a taste of what was about to ensue in this album. I was like "Wait, what the FUCK. THIS IS REAL??" and so I got to actually listening to the song. It is absolutely dreadful but makes gives me a pained stomach from laughter every time I hear it. Something you should check out if you want your ears to be mascaraed but also have it turn into irony at the same time.

Sorry for the really late reply school's been kicking me in the ass ever since I got off my lunar new year break, hope to see the list!

About

Hey!

I grade stuff how I feel at a given time and flip-flop a lot.

Loose album rating key: sub-55 is bad, 56-65 meh, 66-73 ok, 74-80 good, 81-85 great, 86+ amazing

My rule of thumb is that my album ratings are not hot takes unless my score exceeds the user score by ±15 points. There are exceptions to this rule, but I feel that it usually it holds true.

I collect vinyl, CDs, cassettes, not everything is catalogued here or on my Discogs

Hoping to start back up YouTube reviews soon!
