Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion

Album swap with @ImpalaLT. This is one hell of an album. I truly have never heard any music quite like this, I like synth pop and psych pop and I had no idea what I was getting into when I listened to this, the entire thing is trippy as hell and is a beautiful and youthful psychedelic poptronica experience. The layers of sound present on each track is amazing, and mixed with almost Beach Boys style vocals it creates a fantastic atmosphere that flows beautifully from each track. A lot of this project can be so overwhelming in sound that it's hard to digest, but once you settle in it's in incredible experience. Fav Tracks: In The Flowers, My Girls, Also Frightened, Summertime Clothes, Daily Routine, Bluish, Lion in a Coma, No More Run-in, Brother Sport. Least Fav: Guys Eyes.
