Hackle - GUNSMITH THA MIXTAPE

HDOE HDOE HDOE! Hackle's debut mixtape is one of the strongest Haunted Mound projects period, with the beats and production going actually stupid and Hackle pairing perfectly with the distorted and chaotic energy of this album. This project is another example of the sonic growth from the boys at Haunted Mound, that kind of abandons Sem's older RB1 and RB2 formula and instead now has crazier and louder 808 patterns, or dangerously catchy and sinister synths like on my personal fav track here No Sights. This feels a lot like what would eventually become Butcher House but with Hackle's own unique spin on the whole thing, adding his whole gun themed persona to the mix as well as his energy I absolutely loved on Haunted Mound Reapers. Gunsmith Tha Mixtape offers pretty much everything I would want from a Haunted Mound project, and bringing some of the Mound's best songs ever, with my only drawback mainly is some spotty production on some tracks.
