Fall Out Boy - M A N I A

Take their sound on American Beauty/American Psycho, remove any rock sound to it whatsoever, and completely candy-coat the balls out of it, the resulting product is Mania. Mania is easily the most compressed, overdone, overproduced pop album from the pop-punk icons Fall Out Boy. Prior to this they kinda had a pretty decent ability to do pop-rock music with some catchy radio tunes I remember hearing all the time, but with Mania any charm they had before is pretty much all gone with this incredibly in-your-face presentation and production that just comes off as obnoxious and annoying. It's not the worst thing I've ever heard but it's just overwhelming in presentation and that alone is a pretty big turnoff. Fav Tracks: The Last of the Real Ones, Wilson, Bishops Knife Trick. Least fav: Young and Menace.
