This record is Bleak and Opressive and I LOVE IT. I feel like im getting suffocated by a dark wave of smog and filth and haze when I listen to this. a masterpiece... this record sounds incredible, with extremely psychedelic guitars and incredible delivery on the lyrics! This album feels similar to The Velvet Underground in that its sound (while not over the top) feels completely ahead of its time. The groovy tracks feel effortlessly cool and charged with the euphoric and sensual feel echoed by a lot of music from this time period. Into The Nightside Eclipse is dark and messed up, its wrought iron gates and grey brick walls and broken mirrors and fallen chandeliers and smashed grand pianos made of black wood, its gargoles and its clocktowers being circled by crows and stormclouds.
