3OH!3 - NEED

This album is just genuinely not enjoyable. It reeks of the most bland pop music of the past 10 or so years at times. The collaboration with 100 gecs on 'Lonely Machines' makes NO sense as a single for this album. A lot of it screams "I'm 13 and this is deep". The attempts at comedy on the album, such as the track 'Skid Marks', are just entirely painful to listen to and unfunny.

Beartooth - Below

First thoughts: A good album, very solid production. parts sound radio ready, though not in a bad way always. Has some very powerful tracks, and is very consistent throughout the album, though not always to it’s benefit. Some parts are much less memorable than others after the first listen.

After a few more listens i will be coming back to write a complete review.

Paramore - brand new eyes

Wow, for some reason, i have not listen to this album nearly enough. I feel this may be paramore’s best album. The album, front to back, is a super solid image of what paramore is and has always been. In recent weeks i have listen to it a bit more and my rating has gone up quite a bit as it has grown on me. It is all around a very solid album that hits well with amazing instrumentals, is great vocally and lyrically, and is just fun to listen to. I want to take a drive and just feel all ... read more

Weezer - Van Weezer

This album is just another weezer album with another gimmick. It’s not really that special in my eyes, however, there are some parts of the album that are better than others.

On this album, you can definitely here some of that “old weezer” in songs like If ‘Sheila Can Do It’, which was actually written in the pinkerton days.

Overall, if you like to listen to weezer, this is more for you. It is a very casual listen that doesn’t make you think all that ... read more

Cake Pop - Cake Pop 2

This album is decent. If you are in search of 100 gecs or Dylan Brady, that isn’t exactly what you find. The production of this album is where Dylan shows up, and it is very much his sound. Where this album really shines, in my own opinion, is in the other members of this super group as well as the features. Ravenna Golden and Lewis Grant’s vocals here are addictive to say the least. They go together very well, and are highlighted by Brady’s production.

As for my favorite ... read more

I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME - RAZZMATAZZ

This album is great. I say that with a bit of bias, but this album has done a lot for this band. The content on the album, both the singles and the deeper tracks, is great. A lot of the content on the album has been debuted, either live, or through other projects, but these tracks definitely shine the most. The old, the new, and the reworked, that is a very good label for this band, and they do those things very well.

Though this album was released in the midst of a global pandemic, it makes ... read more

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge

Continuing the story from the band’s first album, this album sounds so much better. The album starting with ‘Helena’, moves very quickly and keeps up momentum through the track list. The lyrical content and story is very obviously smart, it’s what Gerard Way does. A lot of people don’t listen to this band for their versions stories they tell through the lyrics, and to those people, who I used to be one of, I urge you to listen closer. A great album, almost a ... read more

The 1975 - Notes On A Conditional Form

People don’t seem like this album, and I have trouble understanding why. There’s definitely the issue of fans wanting the same thing from a band over and over, but personally the growth and shift in sound works brilliantly for this album. As someone who did enjoy the band’s early work, this feels almost exactly like that but expanded greatly. Matty and George are brilliant, though lyrically Matty can fall short at points.

The opening self titled track:
This track, though my ... read more

Phoebe Bridgers - Punisher

This album is something that is almost indescribably good. Phoebe, the team that works with her, and pretty much anyone that had a had in creating this album are super talented, and should be very proud of what they have created.

The production on this album is beautiful and makes me feel very comfortable. If you haven’t heard this album, listen to it. It is an instant classic.

twenty one pilots - Trench

My excitement behind this albums release back in 2018 was something I took for granted. For a band as big as Twenty One Pilots, they do most things for their fans, and it happens to work outside of that sphere. In retrospect, the singles are weak compared to the deeper cuts on this record, but overall this is a very solid album, and the continuous story they are telling through this album is one of huge proportion and it’s unfortunate more people don’t follow it just because of the ... read more

Taylor Swift - Fearless (Taylor's Version)
NR

Solid album as it was originally, but the recreation of each track with the help of those working with Taylor is great. The story behind why this remake had to happen is an interesting one, and thus has been a good project to follow. Get that bank, screw Scooter Braun.

Pitbull - Pitbull Starring in Rebelution

god i love this album for one song, that song is Hotel Room Service. I love it so much it makes me feel all the emotions ever. i am only happy with this song on loop. it hypes me up in the club, helps me drive in the car, it brings me to make the best decisions in my life, helps me shit and fart, and it makes me happy. also here is a synopsis of the movie Holes: A boy is wrongfully sent to a brutal camp, where the camp warden and her staff force the children in their care to mysteriously dig ... read more
