It's a slight step down from her last album, but I still enjoyed this. Seeing Poppy's journey from pop girlie to metal vocalist has been a lot of fun watch.
Favorite song is "If We're Following the Light"
Least favorite song is "Time Will Tell"
This is one of Lou Reed's weaker albums. Not quite a Metal Machine Music, but it's pretty low.
Favorite song is "Temporary Thing"
Least favorite song is "You Wear It So Well"
I'm pretty sure the thing on the cover was in that Nostalgic Critic The Wall video.
Favorite song is "Take Two Placebos and Call Me Lame"
Least favorite song is "Pharmacist's Daughter"
I didn't really much listening to this. I like Ringo, but he's not the strongest songwriter. If it weren't for that song about driving his car, I would have written this off as a total dud.
Favorite song is "In My Car"
Least favorite song is "Everybody's in a Hurry But Me"
How is this not a bigger deal? This was so good!
Favorite song is either "Picture Perfect" or "No More Wonderland"
Least favorite song is "Low Tides" (not bad at all btw)
I mean, I like it, and I'm glad I heard, and I will listen to the band's other stuff, but I had a hard time understanding any of it. And after a while, the songs started to blend together.
Favorite song is "Crucifixion"
Least favorite song is "Empire of the Damned"
As I've stated before, I'm not built for da clerb, but this guy assisted in desecrating Drake's reputation, so I gotta show my respect where I can.
Favorite song is "Face Down"
Least favorite song is "Down on Me"
Humble beginnings for a legendary rock act. Really cool to see the origins of the band that would eventually go on to make the boss theme for "Blue Dragon".
Favorite song is "Hush"
Least favorite song is "Help!"
Worth the wait. Mostly. I feel like this could have been a lot better, but it's more experimental than I was expecting, so I guess I'll take that.
Favorite song is "PUNK ROCKY"
Least favorite song is "SWAT TEAM"
Very catchy, very eccentric. The word for this one is "flamboyant".
Favorite song is "At Home At Work At Play"
Least favorite song is "Achoo"
It's very easy listening rock and new wave, which sounds boring, until you consider that Iggy was one of the first acts to popularize it.
Favorite song is the title track
Least favorite song is "Sixteen"
Mötley Crüe takes a crack at every single genre of rock and metal other than the one that people know them for, and the result is... an album. It's definitely an album, I'll give it that.
"Brandon" is definitely one of the songs of all time. It was written and recorded. It was performed. It has a emotion. *sheds tear*
Favorite song is "Afraid"
Least favorite song is "Brandon" (lmao)
I'll need to listen to the first two acts at some point, since there's a lot here that I'm not getting, but for the music itself: This is what Styx would sound like if they locked tf in.
Favorite song is "Hold On (The Distance Between)"
Least favorite song is "Calling Out" (not bad at all. It's just that it would feel pointless to put one of the shorter songs on here, since they're just supposed to set the pace of the next song)
Not much to say here. Just a collection of solid songs and it was all presented in less than 30 minutes. Good stuff.
Favorite song is the title track (obviously)
Least favorite song is "Honky Tonk"
I know the later years of Mac are seen with less enthusiasm, but I really enjoyed this.
Favorite song is "Skies the Limit"
Least favorite song is "In the Back of My Mind"
Full disclosure, I did not finish this album. I'm sorry, he's a legend, but I was exhausted when I started it, and then I picked it up again, I just wasn't feeling it.
Favorite song is "Do You Remember?"
Least favorite song is "Colors"
I stopped listening at "Colors"
I always thought that "She Blinded Me With Science" was just Dolby being cheeky and doing a bit, but no, he just writes like that. I don't dislike it.
Favorite song is "The Toad Lickers" (we appreciate Imogen Heap in this house)
Least favorite song is "Evil Twin Brother"
There was a lot of energy to this one. I especially liked the second half. Though the final track is a bit of a letdown... but it's fine because this album has SAXOPHONE SOLOS!
Favorite song is "I'm a Believer" (which, unfortunately, is not a cover of The Monkees)
Least favorite song is "Happy Birthday"
