I don’t normally listen to you, but this was surprisingly good. This album was a really good listen, great production and Yeat came with some good bars. The pause with the Blou and Zias sample on LOCO was jokes 😂.

Classic Latin which is sooo 🔥

Freddie Gibbs + Alchemist is a crazy combo, proved to work before.
For me the production on this album was better than the first, the Alchemist has a way of creating a Smoky, late night atmosphere for Freddie to slide over with thought through lyricism.

This mixtape is a confusing one Icl 😂.
Started of strong with some good songs:

Dumbo

But other than that few songs I feel like this mixtape had no focus just a bunch of singles put together. SHYNE Ts was so bad it’s crazy. I feel like this mixtape would’ve have been better if it were shorter and he got some second opinions before he dropped. You could cut over half these songs and improve the ratings of this so much more.

Coming back to this album again I had to bump up the rating to 90. And after retaliating to the songs and watching the CLIPSE tiny desk one song stuck out to me more. BIRDS DONT SING. The piano, bars, production, composition and storytelling in this song is 🔥. SO BE IT, is still my favourite song on the album tho. Definitely hip hop AOTY.

This album is so good, feels like I’m in 70s/80s and was a super nice listen

I really didn’t mean it - best one on the album, love the drums, drum machine Tom fills and the litte accent percs 🤌 the bass is even better. It’s also got a really catchy hook and vocals

Super chill

Bro the way this guy creates this horror soundscape is insane.
The samples he uses the Erie production and the overall atmosphere of this record is crazy.
Plus billy woods is absolutely spitting bars on this record, with this weird broken, spoken work flow.
This is an experience to listen to.

Loved this album, tecca’s got a good and varied flow over some catchy beats, (props to his vocal engineer, Ts is crazy) love the transitions and overall the atmosphere of the album.

Only negative is that some songs feel like they double done with a breakdown or beat switch sometimes can get a lil repetitive, especially last part of album. But overall still bangs
