I disagree Lily; I would rather have two hands over my EYES than over my EARS as I wouldn't be able to hear your amazing band properly.
I just had to move this up to a 100 bro there is no way this isn't my favourite album
Insane three tracks. And don't get me STARTED on the music videos...
I remember how disappointed I was when this dropped after I already bought tickets to their tour lmao. I only love a few songs on here (which is not up to my standard with this band) and despite being curious about the lore, I'm kinda glad they dropped making the sequel to this. That being said, I still have a religious experience listening to A NIGHT OUT ON EARTH. One of their best fr
The only thing stronger than my Nearly Daffodils by ET obsession is my R&B by ET obsession
Most of the second half didn't do much for me and the lyrics can be a bit strange but I like it anyway.
Uses a bit too much of those choir-like backing vocals to build the tracks. But then again, religion is a big theme here so I guess it fits lol.
This is what I imagine a summer fling with a mildly dangerous man in Italy circa 1950 sounds like.
A noncoherent mix of everything. Looking at the track ratings, I'm definitely stating an unpopular opinion here, but Foin Na Cruz and... *takes cover* The Ship Song didn't do much for me first listen (maybe a sign that I should not rate certain stuff on first listen lol).

It falls off when he starts explicitly talking about pj harvey's features, then it picks up again and falls back down with the last track - the album would have had more of an impact if it closed with Far From Me - a beautiful song which describes their ... read more
I love this album to bits, idc. The songs give off such a nostalgic vibe, but with a dark feel, like the playout of losing childhood innocence. Tyler is a prime example that it actually does get better, and creating a band that personifies that is something I will never not get a bit defensive about.
This band really is diverse huh ๐ i find the lyrics to be one of the most appealing things about everything nick cave, which i can't really say about this project, however it makes sense with this style of music and it being a side project, of course.
I'm a sucker for concept albums so of course I liked this, especially listening to it at night with the lights off. Except when The Curse of Millhaven autoplaying after Roses gave me a hear attack lmao.
Also he wrote O'Malley's Bar alone?!?!
I am actually obsessed with Jonny Sims' storytelling. I am DEVOURING The Magnus Archives and impatiently waiting for another novel of his as we speak.
Why did no one inform me that jonny sims could sing?? hello???
