Holy moly, I stumbled upon a gem with this one🔥.

This album is short yet so packed, the urge to relisten to it immediately after the previously has been one of the if not the strongest coming from this, out of all 2026 projects so far. Definitely a candidate for pop album of the year for me.

The album is such a dynamic listen, with different sounds and styles played with across the project hybridising some genres in certain songs. There's a strong sense of fun that's been had across this entire song. The album is like a bag of mixed treats that you eat from with your eyes closed: you don't know what is coming next, and with U the next is so good, yet so vastly different from the last. The changing pockets can either make it an experience for you or disoriented you, there's no in between😅.

I also like how catchy the songs are, namely the chorus. You're able to so easily attribute a chorus to a song after just hearing the song title. The production, to no one's surprise, is insane. My favorites currently are Innuendo and Music. Operative term being CURRENTLY because the album is packed with so many gems that literally any song could be your favourite at any point in time.

Okay, glaze aside, there was a feeling that the songs sometimes needed more kick or oomph. Songs like Bodyfeeling, The Peace and Lovefield that while excellent, are just missing a bit of dynamism and uniqueness that the others lack (a bit).

All that aside it's safe to say it's a top 3 pop album of the 1st quarter.
