It is a clash between a dark cloud and a rainbow (the magic of synthpop). It gave me touches of joy, but without abandoning my dark soul. Friendly and catchy record. Impossible not to move with rhythms like "Path To Love".

When the nu metal began to decay, Deftones took the right path to evolve and not stagnate. Today they are still valid.

Saving the distances, we have a Whitechapel who is aware that deathcore is dying, so they should do about it. The result allowed us to enjoy the beautiful melodic voice of Phil Bozeman (yes, very similar to Maynard), but maintaining his thunderous guttural throat. Well produced, better mixed.

Let's be honest. This is 'The Jonny Pierce Project', and he is more interested in the classic and catchy indie, moving away from that post punk that captivated us.

It's not bad, but it's far from what we expect from The Drums. Considering that, 'Abysmal Thoughts' > 'Brutalism'
