Whitechapel - The Valley
Apr 8, 2019

When the nu metal began to decay, Deftones took the right path to evolve and not stagnate. Today they are still valid.

Saving the distances, we have a Whitechapel who is aware that deathcore is dying, so they should do about it. The result allowed us to enjoy the beautiful melodic voice of Phil Bozeman (yes, very similar to Maynard), but maintaining his thunderous guttural throat. Well produced, better mixed.

There is everything on this record and it is probably one of the best works they have done in many years.

Best tracks: "When a Demon Defiles a Witch", "Black Bear"
