Dreamy, warm and perfect for a rainy afternoon.
The combination of the acoustic instrumentation and the vocals bring together a unique lonely atmosphere.

It is a big change while last albums had great lyrics and meaning in them the instrumentation was based on guitar and drum. But now the piano is the sovereign instrument. You can see the maturity of their writing on how "One Point Perspective" and "American Sports" are connected to each other but
at the same time, you can distinguish them. Even though "Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino" is the album title the homonym song haven't grown on me. "Four out of ... read more

The connection of his vocals with the strange percussion sounds and the dreamy synths on the background are so pleased. New and fresh sounds that at the beginning are a bit strange to the ear but by the time they start growing.

Fresh and consistent! From the beginning till the end you are enjoying every single melody that is introduced. Easy to listen with Albert Hammond Jr's vocals feeling the instrument parts with a weird but interesting tone.

Not perfect but you can hear the maturity in contrast of their debut album "Between Places". The constant synth on the background and the autotune are a perfect match. The guitar riffs are filling the gaps. The drum beats may look a bit papery and programmed that we don't hear too often in these genres but experience with new techniques is never wrong.

Dreamy! Reminds me a lot of Crystal Castles but in a good way. Great LP, from the beginning until the end it keeps you warm. The interesting tone of her voice combined with the synthy instrumentals is on point!

Great album. If you are into psychedelic rock or dream pop you should listen to it. Great waves and vibes that we rarely listen to these days. An average of 8 minutes per song is a bit too much for some people but if you don't get distracted by the repetition of the melodies and structures you will enjoy every minute of this album.

Dreamy and consistent. This album has tones and vibes that travels you back two decades. Perfect production and on point vocals.

For a debut album, it is great, BUT, it is long and by long I mean some of the songs are similar(same patterns, riffs) but every single one of them has a story to tell. Lyrics are well written. As an album, it might not be easy to listen in one sit but it chills you out and calms your mind!

Fresh! Reminds me of daft punk's member Guy-Man side project Waves 1 and 2 but more set down with some nice instrumental parts. The flow between the songs is great, easy to listen even if you are not into house and generally electronic music!
