BROCKHAMPTON - SATURATION III
NR

This is straight up amazing. HOW THE FUCK can pitchfork keep giving these guys 75s and shit like do they not understand music, art, and talent. Every single one of these projects is in my top 5 for albums of the year.

21 Savage & Metro Boomin - Savage Mode
NR

I would go as far to say that this might be the most underrated album of 2016. This to me is some groundbreaking southern trap. Don't really understand all the hate. Sure some of the lyrics are bland but most of the tims he's rapping about growing up in the streets and the shit that he went through. He's one of the best rappers in the game right now

Andy Shauf - The Party
88

Probably the most surprising out of nowhere album of 2016

Beach House - Beach House
75

A great debut that paved the way for their later releases

The Joy Formidable - A Balloon Called Moaning
80

Another Incredibly Underrated Album. First female fronted band i ever listened too

The Cool Kids - The Bake Sale
80

Pretty much the first rap album I ever listened too

Honeyblood - Babes Never Die
74

This album is an incredibly hard rocker and very catchy as well. It definately starts to get a bit repetitive after awile, but still a solid release

Joey Bada$$ - B4.DA.$$

this album is criminally underrated by critics. This is one of the best mc's in the game right now

alt-J - An Awesome Wave

SOulful, FUnky, And trippy as fuck

some wurring psych rock

Cloud Nothings - Attack on Memory
90

This album is just genius. was surprised at how much it grew on me, Incredible

The Black Keys - Attack & Release
84

One of the albums that really got me into music in general. This, the foo fighters, and kings of leon surprisingly got me into all the shit im into today

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
98

This album is damn near close to perfect. I don't know of another rapper that could rap over some of the samples that danny is rapping over, and the lyrics on this thing are so personal and deep that it's like your actually him. Instant Classic

Real Estate - Atlas
75

Ths album is very mellow but there are moments when it does get a bit boring

St. Vincent - Actor
87

Probably the best female artist as of right now. Her guitar playing is way too underrated. She's one of the best guitarist in rock right now male or female

Shellac - At Action Park
86

what has steve albini done that isn't fucking incredible. Honestly.
