Honestly all things considered, for a 2 hour long covers album it's pretty good. And yes it's obviously prb longer than it should so I wouldn't really rec anyone listen to this in one go. The first disk is all new covers and the 2nd has that one covers EP from the late 80s that they did, and that I still don't like, some covers that used to be B-sides before, and a few live recordings of some covers from what I assume to be the load era.
It's pretty consistent, the low points for me was half of the garage days EP but outside of that I pretty much enjoyed all of this. The covers range from Nick Cave to Diamond head and Queen, so it's not just artists from one specific subgenre or one scene that Metallica cover here.
Idk, it's a pretty fun covers album, there isn't much to say about it.
