Weezer - Pacific Daydream

Honestly not THAT bad. While this is in fact a pop album it's also still a weezer album. It certainly has its awful moments but also a lot of great moments that save it for me. It has what you'd expect from weezer, sweet melodies, catchy choruses, nerdy and somewhat corny lyrics.

The opening 2 songs are pretty great imo, they got some of the more solid and memorable choruses on the album, Feels Like Summer is an okay pop song, yes it falls into a lot on clichés like having NA NA NAs in the song n shit but I still kind-of like it tbh.

Happy Hour and Weekend Woman are about as bland uninteresting and filler as it gets tbh, I don't like these 2 at all.

QB Blitz has some stupid lyrics (that line about algebra lmao) but I find it kind-of charming tbh, prb one of my favs on this album.
Sweet Mary is fine, not memorable at all but it's okay imo. Get Right is pretty lame and bland, this is a full on filler track. La Mancha Screwjob is the most generic sounding track here tbh, it's not exactly awful but it's not great either. Just kind-of meh. Any Friend Of Diane's is just stupid fun tbh, I really like this song even tho it's nothing great or interesting.

So yeah imo this isn't good nor awful, I think it's just a decent electropop/pop-rock album, idk I enjoy it for what it is
