THIS RIGHT HERE. This is what rock music needs to be more like, THIS. Please don't let this be a fluke, please... This is a band to be excited about. This is a sound that feels fresh.

These guys got a bright future ahead of them if they continue to make interesting and unique music like this.

And for the love of god, please we seriously need more bands like BCNR. Maybe not in sound but in ambition and ability to stand out and be unique. Too many bands want to blend in, and fuck that.

This band stood out and look, they're already a band everyone seems to love and a month after release people still talk about this album and I think even years from now people will still be talking about them and this album.
Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend

Sometimes music is just amazing
Weezer - OK Human
3.

Weezer make an album where they throw out their guitars...BUT, they replace them with an orchestra. Fucking brilliant

SUNDAYS - Inner Coasts

Don't sleep on this, probably gonna be the best indie folk album of 2021...unless taylor swift drops another indie folk sounding record this year that is
AJR - OK ORCHESTRA

Adeem The Artist - Cast Iron Pansexual
12.

Honestly only checked it out cuz Spectrum Pulse gave it a 9, it's a pretty great country album though. The songwriting was a real standout on here
Ringo Starr - Zoom In
13.
75
Ringo unironically sounds better than he has in the last few decades on this EP, also the first song actually really hit me emotionally and idk how that happened but man I almost cried.
Royal Blood - Typhoons
14.
70
A bit safe but still pretty enjoyable and fun
black midi - Cavalcade
15.
70
It's good and has some extremely high highs...but ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh some of these are so boring
The Antlers - Green To Gold
16.
70
I have no idea what to say about this, it's pretty chill ig
Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over the Country Club
17.
70
Lana Del Rey makes a good but not really great album that people either LOVE to death or pretend is what's wrong with the world or America or something...man who gives a shit about that just try and enjoy the fucking music for once.
The Pretty Reckless - Death by Rock And Roll
18.
70
I shouldn't like this as much as I do but oh well this was fun idc, throwback boomer rock can be good too, sometimes.
Greta Van Fleet - The Battle at Garden's Gate
19.
60
They're taking steps towards making a great album! Very small steps though.
Hayley Williams - FLOWERS for VASES / descansos
20.

I should like this more than I do but man outside of one song I forgot everything on this album :(
Steven Wilson - THE FUTURE BITES
21.
58
The first time me not liking an album made me more of a fan of an artist...Keep it up Steven, this shit is pretty interesting even if it wasn't really for me and I truly appreciate the experimentation here. Just didn't quite pan out on this. Still could have been much worse.
Mechina - Siege
22.
58
This came out?
Liz Phair - Soberish
23.
55
Perfect example of a late era sorta awkward but also really forgettable album from an artist that peaked decades ago
Porter Robinson - Nurture
24.
50
So much hype...So many filler tracks
Evanescence - The Bitter Truth
25.
50
After 10 years of not releasing a new album, Evanescence come back and prove that...they're still Evanescence.
Weezer - Van Weezer
26.
45
Isn't it funny how it is to be a Weezer fan, one moment you swear things will be alright and the band is going to be great again then another moment they drop something like this, the thing this album makes me ask is how many chances is enough? Weezer have gotten so many chances and excuses for so many bad albums but is the promise of another great album that'll eventually release really worth going through all the bad shit?

yes shut up
Serj Tankian - Elasticity
27.
45
Maybe SOAD shouldn't make new music?
Well they should actually, remember the songs they released last year? Those were awesome. This isn't though, Serj dude it's 2021 we don't need a song called Your Mom in 20 fucking 21.
Normandie - Dark & Beautiful Secrets
28.
45
BOOOOOOORIIIIINNNNNG
Xiu Xiu - Oh No
29.
40
I don't get it, sorry :(
Justin Bieber - Justice
30.
40
BOOOOOOR- actually it has a few decent cuts between the insanely misguided MLK parts and the extremely boring and bland pop songs. Still...BOOOOORIIIING
Nick Jonas - Spaceman
31.
40
Nick Jonas continues to be the world's least interesting B lister in pop music.
Architects - For Those That Wish To Exist
33.
30
BOOOOOO, YOU CAN DO BETTER. YOU'VE DONE BETTER. BOOOOOO
Escape The Fate - Chemical Warfare
34.
10
Poor man's You're Welcome...but with a decent opening track that keeps the score from being much MUCH lower
Justin Bieber - Freedom.
35.
5
Just listen to Half Alive if you want christian music, those guys fuckin groove. This guy doesn't groove. Hope that convinced you.
A Day To Remember - You're Welcome
36.

This might not be as bad as my review implied but...it's still extremely awful and is a perfect example of why this genre has been in life support for so long.

Greta Van Fleet's steps to making a great album are so big. They just might get to it by 2030.
