This is an amzing album from the great Lauryn Hill. It can be slow at times, and the neo-soul is the standout by far for me personally. The personal aspects and lyrisim is amazing throughout. An iconic and amazing album not much more is needed to be said.
You truley cant go wrong with this project. It being one of the best projects of 2025, but is sadly unknown to basically everyone. Nightsinmycity raps so consistantly throughout, having really no misses in the whole album. His chorus are great and he has that j cole level hook ability. His rapping really gave me pusha t vibes, but that could be for the constant use of rocky refrences, which always reminds me of when pusha said, " Ivan drago". The production is good and nothing ... read more
Now this album is such an underrated album from Kdot with an absolutly amazingly built feel, and some amazing tracks. Songs like Ronald Reagan era, A.D.H.D., Rigamortus, poe mans dreams, and higher power are all amazing tracks. But it also has some of if not Kendricks worse, like no makeup, and tammy song. But aside from those it still is an overall consistant tracklist and an amazing album.
This is album has some gems like reincarnated, wacced out murals, and gloria, but for me has just lots of lackluster not much going on tracks. Now I listened to this when it dropped, far before I was on album of the year, and since then I have always that of it has Kendricks lowest point. I hope he can make an amazing conceptial album soon, and we can get more music on the side of chains & whips and not good flirts.
This is a truley amazing, but for me their are a lot of just kinda lesser tracks, lots in the 7/10 range. The production is great, and the rapping is great but I think albums like graduation he raps better. Still a great project a true classic.
This is my first Korean album I have listened too, and it was an amazing experience. Im not someone who listens to shoegaze or much like it. But for some reason this hits for me. I really love the vocals far behind the loud guitar. The instrumentals are truley great, and the overall feel is aswell.
I have quite the past with mr jordan carter aka vamp king aka playboi carti. It started in hate, but I have grown along side my music taste I have returned to thy Mr. Carti. And its pretty good. The production is bit samey throughout, but not good with standouts. But more then anything its fun, especially with Jordan Carters performance which can br energetic but lackluster at times, mostly with pretty basic and not very creative lyrics. But Mr Opium has some good hooks in songs like Location.
This album is so amazing, and coherent for a mixtape. Its easily a top 3 mixtape for me. The writting in this is really great and so fun. The features all deliver and Earl's on here twice. Its such a personal album which is pretty sad knowing what would happen to mac. The production is a pretty large standout for me. Personally it feels so nostalgic and reminds of me of the time when I first started to listen to music. Just plain amazing.
Another great project by Masayoshi. It feels like the cover chillin' on a beach. I mean its just amazing the production is such a standout with that guitar heavy jazz with so many unqiue and creative inclousions. I love the vocals which are a few and far bewteen but when its there its great.
I know this is a compilation so none of these songs are original, but it really is just great. Its fusion jazz is amazing makes you feel so happy as it just feels like summer. The vocals are always a fun suprise throughout, and the creativity is just great. Also one of the coolest album of covers.
I liked this production a lot. The main vocals are amazing, and the spanish on a few songs was really great. This feels like the best teenage girl music I've ever heard, if that makes sense. Thats just how it feels.
This is just short and pretty basic and samey throughout. Like most of this genre it is very good to just chill and listen too, but thats not saying much. Just no substance.
I love some of these of the songs production and rapping from boldy and alc respectivly. The features are great, and the production is nice and almost grimy at times. Boldy like usaully delivers on rapping. Yeah just a really good but not ground breaking for this genre album.
A very chill flute heavy album, with some great vocal spotlights. I wish their were more vocals but I do love the ambiance of the album as a whole. Its a very nice kinda calming album I'd recommend.
This is really nice the production is much better then his last project and Keem has clearly grown. The rapping is so much better too. Their are lots of lower points but not much from keem himself. Kendrick hard sells lowk. His hook in house money isnt terrible but good flirt is pretty bad. The chorus earlier is great but then sells which is rare for him. Most other features were good or nothing crazy, but keem is in the spotlight. Im hopeful for Keems future, and I'd love a more lyrical ... read more
Idk this album really isnt too crazy for me. Their are some decent, to even great songs. A lot of weird performances to me. And the production is usually pretty decent with some meh. But yeah idk how to feel about.
This album is a masterpiece. Theirs not many vocal albums I've listened to from 60s especially more jazz/blues albums. But it is reallllllly good. The piano and hermonica are absloutly amazing. Nina simone gives a great and raw performance throughout. Her unique voice gives so much character just great.
A super consistant project, with great rapping throughout. The production is amazing cause its al. The features are also great. It has a good tracklist and decent length. Just a great nothing on the next level but great.
I absoultly love this. Him and Nujabes have great chemistry and do so well together. Substantial raps like a more laid back in delivery, Andre but with more fun lyrics. Its just truly amazing on how well they work together.
