one time i went to a park in the middle of the night and laid on a bench and listened to this album because i was miserable and strange. it was cold and i was scared

to binge is pretty, and so are a couple other songs. i think that a lot of critics and publications decided that people taking weird steps in music is worth people's time. I would much rather listen to an album that does one or two things well. genre-fusions are novelties on gorillaz albums. mixing genres isn't equivalent to writing a great album.
