Cartoon - Bounce On Da Riddim
84

Upcoming album is gonna be interesting
Really catchy and overhated, I wish it was longer though. Would also be nice if there was an instrumental drop in there too. But those are minor complaints. I like the gritty stabs a lot. Excited to see what the full album is gonna be like!

Bad Computer - Move Like This
100

funky, enough said. Simply awesome in every way.

TheFatRat - Still Here With You
88

Y'all hating on this, this is some good Liquid DnB right here. Chris is a surprisingly good vocalist, and the song is still in his signature style. I wish it was longer though

Skrillex & Kendrick Lamar - HUMBLE. (SKRILLEX REMIX.)
75

Hot take: Kendrick's vocals are what ruin this song for me. Maybe they work better in the original song (they probably do), but here they do not sound good at all for me. The lyrics also are um... interesting. All that aside, the Trap drops are GREAT. As someone who doesn't really like most of the songs on Quest For Fire, it's nice to see Skrillex turning a rap song into a great and more intense Trap song. An Instrumental of this would go hard ngl

Edit: it's grown on me

Martin Garrix - Gravity
100

Pretty much everything that makes a good house song is in this song, and it's done amazingly too!
Top tier vocals, top tier everything.

Martin Garrix - Poison
95

Classic Commercial House song, love the vocal chops! I should listen to more of Martin Garrix, he seems pretty damn good at what he does. The drops are great, the synths are great, it's just amazing imo.

Skybreak - ANTIMATTER / CAN'T LET GO
96

Pleasebeanalbum
Skybreak really is an amazing artist. Bringing his signature Color Bass sound design into DnB and Garage worked really well. ANTIMATTER is a great Rap/Neurofunk song, with great melodies and great rapping from Purple Velvet Curtains. It is a bit too loud at times, but that's a minor complaint. Sound design is top notch as always.
CAN'T LET GO is a very satisfying Garage track with good vocals, and a bit repetitive at times. Good vocals from flowanastasia, great sound ... read more

Grant - Starship
95

Classic, really impressive for being made in a single day. Grant simply can't miss, I love the space vibes and vocal chops, and that second drop is great.

Grant - High Enough
100

The only complaint I have is that it should be longer, the second verse ends so abruptly imo

Other than that, yeah Grant can't miss. I love him incorporating his watery Future Bass sound design into a more upbeat, Indie Dance/Nu Disco/Synthpop song. The melody works so damn well with the sound design, pure ear candy. And great vocals from Will Jay too, they match the song perfectly!

Tobu - Geometry
89

Was obviously expecting more from this collab just because of the "name value", but I'm glad it ended up this simple. Just classic Tobu, kinda wish it was longer though

4URA - LOUDER
90

Pretty great Trap song from 4URA here, not much to complain about, just goes hard :)

Hayve & ROY KNOX - Hideaway
90

Don't really hear Roy's influence here, but still some great DnB from hayve and great vocals from Skyelle. I love how well the heavy and melodic elements are balanced here, just a great song all around. Not really much to complain about honestly

Grant & Ellis - Dead Man Walking
100

Match made in heaven with these two artists right here

Blastoyz - Arise
100

Love to see Trivecta's return to monstercat, this is some quality psytrance right here. And that melodic dubstep drop in the middle is golden.

All my opinion of course

MDK - Button Masher
85

MDK needs to collab with Nitro Fun man, just a good complextro/electro track all around. The melody is sometimes a bit stuttered, and it doesn't sound as satisfying as the other parts of the song, and that's the only complaint I have.

Netrum & Halvorsen - Phoenix
100

Not their best collab, but that's a high bar to top with these two. The synths, vocals, production, all of it is perfect and blends together perfectly in my opinion. They simply can not miss

Tobu - Faster
95

Tobu really bringing out the Avicii vibes with this one, I love it. Reminds me of Eternal Minds by Waysons too

if found - false / youth
100

if found really doesn't let up here. Vocals chops are used perfectly, every song is a 10/10, vocals are great on every song, what more can I say? if found's best, and that likely won't change for me ever.

Now could you please extend this EP into a full album mr. if found ok bye

"@masivnipero "I dislike this album and it sounds uncomfortable for me to listen to." While I do disagree with him just calling the album slop, to say he's racist or ignorant just because he dislikes it is genuinely so stupid. As for what you said about this being "non-critique", I often find it hard to actually go in depth to something I don't like. 2/2"
On jackuw 🌿's review of Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
"@masivnipero So it's racist for someone to dislike hip-hop? Also, it's all a matter of opinion when it comes to art. jackuw obviously doesn't relate to this album's core themes, so it makes sense for them to not be "nourished" by this album. I personally dislike most hip-hop because the vocals on most modern hip-hop songs just feel like an afterthought. 90% of the production and vocals feel like they came from two entirely different songs and don't match with each other in the slightest. But back to my original point, saying this review is racist simply because they don't like an album is just dumb. There isn't anything here that even remotely hints at jackuw being racist, he basically just says 1/2"
