Short and sweet but lacking in any real substance. Her vocals and the main hits here are really good though.
Favs: 595, Last Day I Loved You
Minus a couple tracks here and its contender for best experimental hip hop album of all time. Exactly what my ears needed after the last two albums in the genre I listened to...
The worst "hip-hop" album I've listened to this year, mainly because of the poor vocals. Only songs here that had the potential to be good were Can I have You For Myself? and In My Town.
For my first time listening to American Football, I decided to listen to American Football... not their 1st, 2nd or 3rd. I mean their latest fourth album. This was so soothing to my ears that while I was playing Papas Freezeria Deluxe, I almost feel asleep. This is good but the only kinda context I see myself playing this is in the background while I do something, which isn't bad but for me, makes it lose some of its ground.
Fav Tracks: Wake Her Up, Bad Moons
Sonically very experimental and pretty, a very boastful evolution of his previous album. Vocally and lyrically, Quadihca🥀 still muddies the same waters as before without much improvement, just better instrumentals to drown out his crooning.
Fav Tracks: Godstained, Monday, Dancing Without Moving
11 years later, still one of the best trap albums of all time no matter what you think of Travis. Nothing he's made since comes even close.
Fav tracks: 90210, Nightcrawler, Pray 4 Love
While its definitely not the best rap album in the world, hell not even close, the songs "Drive Safe", "Yellow" and "Where Does the Time Go" bring back a lot of good memories I had with my friends years ago.
I CAN GO~WITH THE FLOW.
FIRST IT TAKETH~THEN IT GIVETH AWAY.
Indeed a Fool Am I. One of my top rock albums of all time with lots of memorable moments.
Fav Tracks: No One Knows, First It Giveth, Song for the Dead
Love how tropical and summer-coded this album is. Just sounds like you're sitting, drinking out of a coconut under the sun. Also my first real exposure to hip-hop.
Fav Tracks: Sweet/I Thought You Wanted to Dance, Juggernaut, Wusyaname
This is the album that got me into music. Being so used to what played on pop radios, hearing the sounds I did on this album brought my younger self's ears plenty of joy.
Fav Tracks: Whats Good, I Think, Are We Still Friends?
The one moment in his early career where Tyler decided to lock in and actually make a competent, listenable project. Aged pretty well imo.
Fav Tracks: Tamale, PartyIsntOver/Campfire/Bimmer, 48
