This album is a bit frustrating, as I expected it to confirm Werenoi as a hitmaker. It starts off strong, but past track 6, it just goes downhill with a ton a filler tracks. You can tell he knows how to make a hit, but he's not really interested in making a good album. Anyhow, I'll take it for what it is: an album where you pick your favourite tracks, add them to a party playlist, then never listen to the album again.

In my opinion, this is better than the first one. It's more consistent and steers away from that pop sound that was quite prominent in the back half of Cosa Nuestra. The best songs on here are GuabanSexx and Mirando al Cielo, I mean, just wow, his vocals on the outro and just godly, I don't think I've heard him pour his heart out like that before. The intro as well grew on me a ton. Caribeno is really cool. Despite not being a fan of bachata, Silencio is really good, Contrabando ... read more
The feeling I have gotten after every listen is "wow, Gunna really outdid thug on this one", and that's not saying much because Gunna's album was not good either. But in comparison, holy shit, I might have to increase my grade for it because it's at least bearable from start to finish.
UY SCUTI, on the other hand, starts okay with Ninja and Yuck (the long ass outro excluded), and then it's miss, after miss, after miss, right up until walk down. At that point, it ... read more
Honestly, it's not that bad, but it's a chore to get through. At this point in time, Feid had not found his voice yet and sounded just like every other reggaeton artist. The project just lacks any sort of identity. The singing is okay at best, and the production has aged a lot. Needless to say, he did end up improving a lot over the years.

Honestly, everyone here is just hating on my boy. The first couple of listens were rough, I will admit.
I think Quevedo is talented for finding catchy melodies for a chorus, but for some reason, he always says something cringe like on 14 FEBRERO "sera por fin el dia que entre en ese agujero", or he just hits a slightly bothering note, like on POR ATRAS "por atRAAAAAAS", or on QUE ASCO DE TODO... Those are 3 songs that would have been perfectly good if it weren't for ... read more
Overall, this is a step in the right direction. It's so much better than INSANO and the fucking horrible deluxe that came with it.
After he announced his retirement, I was like, there's no way he's actually going to retire, then obviously he dropped INSANO. Anyhow... I didn't go in open-minded or with high expectations, and I was surprised in the end. Perhaps he still has another great album in him. There are a lot of enjoyable songs, and the ones that stood out the most to ... read more
Well... he officially dropped it *sigh*, I guess I have to listen to it for real now.
Anyhow, I think there are a lot of good ideas on the album, but a lot of the songs on here just feel unfinished still. They sound like demos. Overall, it's not all that bad, but it's just a bit long at 58 minutes.
Anyhow... not as bad as Vultures 2, but still not a step in the right direction.
Not all that bad. There are a bunch of decent to good songs on here, but it's very repetitive. It's just the same old Gunna with absolutely nothing new, oh, and for 25 fucking songs. Hopefully, this is the last wun.
Honestly, I can't believe that Vamos a Bailotear is the most famous song from the album. I just don't understand what makes a song go viral or not. It sounds like he's barely even trying. There are many more songs on the album that are better... anyhow....
Overall, I much preferred his previous album. I mean, this one is different; he tries a few different styles, but his vocal style has gotten very stale. He needs to improve his singing and come up with more memorable and ... read more
Overall, it's a good album. Not as good as The Forever Story, but still enjoyable all the way through. It just lacks the highs of the previous album. Also, it's a bit less accessible, and I prefer more mainstream music. My favs were YouUgly, What We On, Wholeheartedly, and For Keeps. Least favourite was Sk8.
I appreciate that Metro wants to go back to his roots with this project, but having listened to early Young Thug and Future, I have never liked the old Atlanta trap sound. It has aged very poorly and just sounds bad and amateurish in my opinion, and this reflects very strongly on this album. It doesn't sound like a modern album with established artists; it sounds like someone made this in their room with a pirated version of FL Studio and brand new rappers on the scene. I mean, "I ... read more
Honestly, I'm disappointed, not by the album, but by the fact that it doesn't connect with me. I can tell these songs are good, but they just don't hit for me. Tyler hasn't been really hitting since IGOR and Flower Boy. CHROMAKOPIA was good, but not on that level.
The last album was a bit better, but this one is still good. The cover is absolute fiiiire. The album starts strong and ends so well, I would go as far as to say that FOREVER is his best outro. I wish it were longer, it's soooo catchy. However, the middle part has its ups and downs, making it drag on a bit. Luckily, the album is a perfect length: 15 songs, 45 minutes, so it goes by quite fast.
My favourites were: FOREVER, YESTERDAY, DRAGON, DESTINY, KYKY2BONDY, ENCORE UNE NUIT

This did not impress me or hype me up for the album; the track with Yachty is okay. I thought Van Gogh was much better, behold has a few decent flows, and Lisa is enjoyable.
Now, hem, hem, em, em, eminem... "me and JID are just like bestiality, we fuckin' animals". *sigh* the song is beyond terrible. And no mercy! JID, too, is not doing anything interesting. The two rappers are just rapping absolute nonsense, for 6 fucking minutes straight, no chorus, and going as fast as ... read more
Very disappointing knowing what J Balvin is capable of. Zun Zun, Uuu, No Te Olvido and St. Tropez are fucking terrible and should have never ended up on any album. KLK is a banger though, and you can tell mr Bunny inspired Balvin to go back to old latin roots with Misterio which is also good (not great), but not nearly as ambitious or as good as Bad Bunny's attempt at salsa with Baile Inolvidable.

Honestly, this is not good, so much filler, and the good songs like Champagne and Vacay are ruined by stupid screaming. Also, what the fuck is BEEP??? I genuinely have not heard such a bad Travis Scott song. The best song is Where Was You, but that's just a copy of Where Ya At by Future. Carti's chorus has the same flow, and the topic is the same. I'm surprised Future agreed to hop on to the song. Travis already has a song called Outside, and it's better than this shit. ... read more
It's a decent little album; however, it's a shame the colour concept doesn't have anything more to do here. The tracks all have names for a colour, but that colour has nothing to do with the lyrics or themes of the songs. The album is really good up until Morado, then it starts to go downhill, and the last song is terrible.
Honestly, the best J Balvin album I've heard so far! There's a fair amount of filler due to the playlist approach, which seemed like a big trend in 2018 and forward with Scorpion by Drake, but anyhow... The tracklist is littered with hits, but loses all its steam after que mas pues and ends horribly. What surprises me the most is how well J Balvin adapted to the state of reggaeton in 2021. This doesn't sound like the Balvin from Colores or Vibra; it's much more modern and ... read more
Honestly, the majority of the songs are okay, but for a few factors, this album is a massive flop. 1, Why is there a slow and reverb remix of a single you dropped one year ago??? 2, Why are you previewing a song on your album with 2 minutes of silence??? and 3, why are the two most successful singles you dropped in the past two years on here as bonus songs, one of them not even being your songs??? It's like Feid really doesn't care.
For the positive, there's a really good ... read more
