every time a rapper tries to go rock it's pure garbage, and this is no exception. Vince’s deadpan voice just gets totally drowned out by these messy, blown out guitars. The whole thing sounds way too overproduced there's zero raw energy to it. All these repetitive, basic post punk beats just blur together, making the whole album sound exactly the same. Vince is trying hard to force a sound that just doesn't ft him at all.
why did i know max martin produced this ? i dont even know what to criticize first, the boring production? the most bland lyrics of all time? the melody that doesnt stick out?
there is this particular moment in "i can change", when he says, "hoping and hoping and hoping the feeling goes away." i dont particularly know why, maybe its his voice when he says it, but its such a powerful moment, i cant help but cry everytime i hear it back. in many ways this is happening is an emotional bittersweet album for lcd
we all know ( this is nothing ) call the police carries
its fine guys... its not that good
i am excited for the slowed remixed acoustic sped up ( radio edit ) version tho
really really good, i think "drums" and "organs" are really not needed, the first four tracks on this album are extraordinary, also the "between your ear" track is so fucking good too
Oh my god this song would’ve been SO MUCH better without the autotune it HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL
there's a video of the dare previewing this song and literally nobody is moving lol
dont trust the nerds who piss about the runtime this is their second best album
