OK Computer is one of the most iconic releases from Radiohead crushing, inspiring, and endlessly engrossing. It’s a record that’s founded on a weird sort of beauty, where every song is like its own miniature emotional breakdown. I could talk about this record forever, song by song, about how meticulously it’s all been put together. It’s not my favorite Radiohead album, but it definitely deserves all the praise it gets.

The big hits Karma Police and No Surprises are of course highlights, but the hidden gems are just as worthy of love. Let Down might be one of the most shattering songs they’ve ever recorded, a slow-burning apart that just gets worse with every listen. No Surprises combines its fragile atmosphere with lyrics that cut in the most subtle way possible. And Karma Police is, of course, a classic for a reason rememberable lyrics, haunting vocals, and that slow-burning intensity only Radiohead can muster. It’s a total masterpiece of an album.
