This album is basically perfect in my opinion. The production is fantastic, the guitars are amazing, including the few solos that are on this album and the orchestral buildups on some of the songs are absolutely top notch. There are many catchy and memorable melodies and riffs on the record, making it all the more enjoyable. Bowie's singing is great, there are times where you can really feel he's pushing his voice as far as possible. Rock 'n' roll suicide is ... read more

I can't really say I've listened to anything quite like this album before. There is so much going on in the music that it's hard to make everything out sometimes, and I feel like that may have been the intention. Even though I liked it quite a lot, I feel like this is an album that would have to grow on me with time.

Even though I haven't heard a full Sampha project before, I've heard a few of his features on other tracks, every single one of them being fantastic. So I was pretty excited to finally listen to a full Sampha album, and it delivered. His voice is beautiful as always, and the production was quite minimal in a lot of songs, a lot of it using piano too, and I enjoyed it a lot. But even though the main album is already great, the deluxe is FANTASTIC. Satellite Business 2.0 is ... read more

Wow ok, this absolutely deserves all the hype. There's not a single miss in this tracklist. All of these songs just sound so ethereal and pleasing, I geniuenly don't think it's possible to dislike them. The vocals are really pretty and the production is out of this world, I can't find any flaws in this record. Even though I'm only hearing it a few days before the new year, this might be a contender for my AOTY.
These people be having the most horrifying lyrics over the most whimsical production

I liked it a lot more than I was expecting. This album kinda flip-flops between pretty good tracks and ones that are just ok. Aside from track 11, I don't think there's anything outright bad on here. Taylor's vocals are great the whole way through, but the production is pretty incosistent. There are songs where it's really high quality, but there are ones where it's just pretty bland. Also, I gotta mention the bridge on track 14, it geniuenly gave me chills ... read more

This album is really good in my opinion. Cole's storytelling is great, his flows are solid and I always really enjoyed in his voice in general. There are also multiple catchy and memorable hooks here, which I wouldn't really expect from J. Cole.

Wow no way it's Christmas. Anyway, Jschlatt's voice is geniuenly really good, I can tell he put a lot of effort into sounding as good as possible, and it paid off. The instrumentation is also really nice, assuming these are recreations of the original songs, which I would imagine is the case. Never forget what happened in 1999.

This is just really fun and enjoyable. The instrumentation is great, guitar solos go hard and the vocals sound amazing. There are several very catchy and memorable melodies throughout this whole album. I do think that it drags a bit at the end though, I feel like I wouldn't mind the last few tracks be shorter. But still, just a very fun experience!

I really loved this. This is definitely the most personal I've seen Vince get, there's geniuenly some really depressing stuff in this album. His storytelling on some of the song is pretty impressive as well. The production is really good, it's very clean and feels pretty jazzy at some spots. I overally really enjoyed this album, one of my favorites from this year for sure.

This is a soundtrack that in my opinion actually still works as an album experience. All of the melodies are very memorable and instantly recognizable. The ambience and progression here is also very on point, I felt it managed to capture my attention the whole way through.

This album is just really soothing. I felt relaxed basically the whole way through this, it geniuenly feels like something i could fall asleep to (in a good way). I also really enjoyed the vocals on this one.

The amount of diffrent genres packed into this while still managing to remain cohesive is very impressive. I feel the themes of love and black empowerement were tackled with real maturity and done very well. That still doesn't stop these songs from being amazing listens. Freedom in specific is one hell of a song. Overall, this is a really great album from Beyonce.
