This is so funky I love it lol. A lot of this sounds quite weird even today, really shows how ahead of his time Miles Davis was. Some of these tracks have really good progression too, which I really enjoy.

I mean... I guess it's fine. Most of these tracks range from subpar to okay, with a few that are actually pretty good. The production here is very all over the place in terms of quality, some tracks are basically carried by it, while some just straight up suffer because of it. Also, for some reason a few of the tracks have really compressed vocals that I just could not get over. Overall, I guess it's a fine album, but I doubt I'll be revisiting it anytime soon.

I have no idea what they're saying but it's awesome. The guitars on this whole thing go stupid too.

While nothing impressive, I think what this album does is pretty good. It's a vibe. Sometimes an album doesn't have to be amazing to still be enjoyable. That being said, there are still some songs that I just don't care for. Also, why is this so long? A lot of these songs could have definitely been cut, this album is not varied enough to be almost 90 minutes long.
🎄[14/31]
This is just really good. The vocals are great, I enjoyed his range while performing some of these live. The guitar is also absolutely amazing the whole way through the record, that includes all of the guitar solos which there are many.

This is my 100th review apparently. I don't really take my reviews too seriously, but still pretty cool.
I love the aesthetic of this album. I always adored the "night city" vibe if you know what I mean, and this record is full of that. The production is the highlight of the project overall, it goes into some pretty experimental places on a few songs, which I appreciated. Not to mention the fact that track 21 is the most heavenly instrumental that came out of ... read more

Kid Cudi is an artist I've always loved, even though I haven't heard that much of his stuff. The only full project of his I listened to is Kids See Ghosts, which is one of my favourite albums of all time. I was excited to hear this, but the first few tracks didn't really do much for me. I kinda felt like Cudi's performance was a bit sloppy at times, and I was afraid I wasn't going to enjoy this much. Fortunately though, it gets very good very quickly. The ... read more

The word that sums this album up the best in my opinion is refreshing. It's just such a pleasant listening experience, you can't help but feel at ease, even if some of the topics of the tracks are not that. Marvin's voice is seriously amazing (duh) and the instrumentation on a lot of this record is super well organized, especially on the first track.

Daft Punk is just a band that just everyone knows, and this album is probably the reason why. It has some of it's biggest and most recognizable hits, and all of these tracks are very groovy and danceable. That being said though, while I did enjoy this a lot, I found the repetitiveness of a lot of songs on here kinda brought down some of them for me. Maybe it's just me, but I just feel like a few of these tracks are longer than they need to be. Still, this is a great ... read more

This EASILY lives up to it's hype. Nas' storytelling is fucking amazing, some tracks geniuenly felt like a full story despite only being a few minutes long. Speaking of that, the pacing on this album is perfect, it's 40 minutes and none of that is wasted. The beats too are awesome, very catchy but not too distracting. This is just a flawless album in my opinion, which is why I'm giving it a 100, which I do very rarely.

Pink Floyd is my mom's favourite band, so I was going to listen to this eventually. Obviously, the way this album flows is amazing, it geniuenly should be criminal to pause in the middle of this record. I also really enjoy the use of synths in a few of these tracks, it just felt really nice to listen to.

I should stop listening to these in the middle of the night lol. I like how raw these tracks feel, it kinda felt like i was sitting in the studio exactly as the track was being recorded if that makes sense. My minor complaint is that I felt that the track lenghts were kinda all over the place, but it's not a big deal to be honest.

I didn't really know what to expect from this. BRAT is one of my favourite albums to come out this year, but I obviously wasn't expecting this one to be nearly as good, and I was proven right. A lot of these songs just feel pretty bland to me, and I really don't care much for them. They're servicable, but nothing that makes me captivated. The second half of the record does have some of the better songs, but still, this album just feels pretty uninteresting to me. ... read more

Okay, to be honest, due to the fact that this album is very long, and I don't have much time today, I put this on in the background and wasn't paying super close attention to it. One thing I can tell you though, is that this some DAMN GOOD background music. I couldn't tell you why, but something about it just makes it really enjoyable to have it on while you're doing something. I also found out that apparently most of these songs are completely improvised, which ... read more
