It's more Post Malone. This album will not change your opinion of him whatsoever - it's exactly what you'd expect. The music is more enjoyable the less you really listen to it.

This new Danny Brown is good, but it takes a step back in every aspect compared to AE. The production for the most part is just alright, and as much as Danny tries to reel me in with his slick cadence and flows, I'm not hooked.

The best tracks here are also the hardest hitting, and that shows Danny is at his best when the energy is at it's highest, it's a shame that it feels too subdued for the most part - and while it's by no means bad, it falls into the background easily.

DaBaby continues to be one of the most unrelenting rappers on the scene, however his novelty is beginning to get stale. There's not much here that is evolving his sound, in fact I found the production for the most part a step down from 'Baby On Baby' and every feature on here was subpar to put it nicely.

The only thing consistent on this album is DaBaby's infectious energy, he delivered while mostly everything else didn't.

I'm disappointed that I'm not disappointed

I never understood the fascination for Peggy, I do now. This is fantastic in every aspect - it's easily the best produced hip hop album this year and Peggy's melodies and hooks throughout are so addictive. There is never a boring moment on here as the music continues to shift and evolve with it being lo-fi one moment and chaotic the next (Kenan vs Kel in a nutshell)

It's hard to give this a fair rating with most people either having a bias for or against him. Ameer was no doubt my favourite member of BROCKHAMPTON and was the highlight of their songs most of the time. I was devastated when he left as I felt that was the end of the group's top tier form. However they've released two very strong albums back-to-back proving they're just as great without him.

Ameer's performance here as a solo artist is well... exactly what you expect from solo Ameer. His ... read more
