These guys have nowhere to go but up. They've been picked up my Universal, they've got a classic rock sound that just isn't being serviced today. Yes they sound like Led Zeppelin and Rush, their influences are very clear. I'll take it though, cause guess what? No one today sounds like this.
This is a fantastic debut for a bunch of young kids that are only going to hone their sound and find their voice with future releases.
A massive step up from their previous effort. ZABA felt "samey" at times with it's groovy yet sombre tone through out. On their sophomore, they've given us much more variety, a brighter collection of tracks and almost all of them are better than the one before it. Definitely one of the top 10 releases this year so far, it's refreshing to see a band capitalize and exceed their debut.
