Rx Papi & Gud - Foreign Exchange
85

Foreign Exchange was a weird experience to listen to. Gud’s production doesn’t match Rx papi’s rapping style or voice at all but somehow it works. Overall pretty good but nothing crazy.

Chief Keef - Almighty So
89

Why doesn’t Chief Keef the credit he deserves, without Keef we wouldn’t have X, Carti, Sematary, Joeyy, etc. On Almighty So has some of the most beautiful instrumentals that somehow mixes perfectly with Chief Keef’s hazy voice. The album feels chaotic and messy in a beautiful way. I would definitely recommend to listen to this album if you like cloud rap.

Panchiko - D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L
92

D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L is really anything but death metal. The album shows strong inspirations from artists like Radiohead, with the vocals on Deathmetal sounding a lot like Radiohead’s on Ok Computer. I was surprised how much I liked this album. I would definitely recommend a listen and to hear the backstory behind the album if you haven’t.

The Rockwood Escape Plan feels like the middle child between The Ghost Pop Tape and Joechillworld. It got a a lot of the ambient elements from The Ghost Pop Tape and still got the rapping style and lyrics from Joechillworld. I feel like The Rockwood Escape Plan was the point where the character Jpegmafia was born, in the sense of the very political lyrics he use on The Rockwood Escape Plan matches a lot of the music he made later as Jpegmafia on Black Ben Carson and Veteran. Overall do I really ... read more

Nas - Light-Years
73

2025 has been a great year for the 90’s rapper. We have gotten albums from Big L, Wu Tang, Ghostface, Slick Rick and now Nas. Nas is rapping on the same level as he was in the 90’s. Premier’s is also as beautiful as ever. I’m kinda sad this album doesn’t have more features, but the features it got were pretty good. If I had to pick something negative about the album could it probably that it gets a bit repetitive, but it’s really not a big problem.

redveil - sankofa
87

Redveil evolves a lot since his last album vocally, but also producing wise. The entire album is produced by himself, that’s also really a surprise for me because the production is really a highlight of the album. Overall it’s very great and I can’t wait for his next album.

21 Savage - WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STREETS?
50

I low-key forgot about 21 Savage until he announced this album. I really don’t get the hate, like yes it’s not 21 Savage best work but it’s not bad. 21 Savage’s problem is that his style hasn’t changed a lot since he started. Overall do I think it’s kinda a mess, but not that bad.

B.O.C - Stadig De Bedste
69

73

Macadelic is transition between Mac's Early music and his more abstract music like Watching Movies with the Sound Off. Macadelic's themes are mostly centered around drugs and addiction, that can be heard both in lyrics and the production. You can also hear a lot of Mac's influences from Tribe, Jimi Hendrix and the mid to late 2000's mixtape era. My personally highlights are songs like The Mourning After and America.

Fivio Foreign - PlaqueBoyMax
78

I really don't get the hate on Fivio, of course it's not the most serious shit, but it's catchy as shit.

jschlatt - A Very 1999 Christmas
75

who took Frank Sinatra reboot card? Schlatt's voice fits perfect over every classic christmas song and you barely hear that it's him that is singing. For a youtuber this is great, but I really feel like most of the time I will just listen to the original songs.

Svard - Crash
98

I love how Svard mixes elements of hyperpop with soviet postpunk. The electric guitar need a raise, like does it work so good with the synths.

Jake Paul - That Ain't On The News
34

If Lil Wayne released this song 20 year ago it would be considered a classic.

Juggmyfries - Juggmydih
12

Ts is going triple cardboard 💀💀💀🥀

MAVI - The Pilot
76

Mavi is really one of most underrated rapper in the abstract hip hop scene. On The Pilot Mavi mixes a lot of different styles of hip hop, some are more Trap influenced like G-ANNIS FREESTYLE and some are more jazzy like Triple Nickel. The features also complement Mavi a lot, especially Mike and Earl Sweatshirt.

Svard - White Rabbit
91

This guy makes youtube videos about Dubaian slaves and Israel's war crimes btw.

Drake - 100 GIGS
46

Drake could have 100 Gigs to him self. 100 gigs has some of Drake least interesting songs with some mid ass features from Thug and Latto. It's feel weird that a 21 Savage feature is the interesting thing about this ep thingy. Overall this is a mess, and should have been unreleased.

Gilli - Ækte Vare
84

Drake - For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition
72

I mean the extra tracks are good, but it wasn’t needed. For all the dogs is already 23 songs long. Drake could just release Scary Hours 3 as a ep without For all the dogs.
