Undergound sounding good is rare.
Masta ace sounding good is not.
Disposable arts isn't the best boom bap I've heard, but it is one hell of an experience. If you need a quick intro to conscious and storytelling I'd give this a rec.
no title might not reach the levels of F# A# or lift your skinny fists but it stands as a great addition to their world class discography
it's sad to see gybe actually make a disappointing album
Wonderful for christains and all else, for the most part. For the most part, I'll say again.
Musically I prefer this over kind of blue, it's too refreshing, relaxing and upbeat to just slide past
Not better than modal soul, if it wasn't for the sometimes flat rapping and hip-hop elements in the earlier parts of the album, then maybe it'd have a nice shot.
besides the opening track i hate this album it's so overrated
without this though, r&b mac miller would've never started coming out and we might not of had swimming and circles
very fun but a tad bit boring too nice production though
it's very nice rock and singing but far from horses, honestly just an over extension of it in some ways. still enjoyable
a little less elecric guitar than i'm used to with electric ladyland but the storytelling and thematic depth he uses in his lyrics makes up for it
j cole's attempt at what at first sounds like a hype album, but proves to be conscious. it's pretty eh.
insanely all over the place, unique and somewhat cinematic, mingus knows how to keep you entertained from start to finish
