This is a pretty solid alt rock album with a few highlights that are some of the best songs in said genre. Hard recommend for those who need something bitter and downtrodden for what reason they may have.
Favorites - The Hollow, Magdalena, Rose, Judith, Orestes, 3 Libras, Thomas, Breña
Least Favorite - Renholdër
Any moment where LB tries to at least sound more serious kinda kills the album. Still a handful of solid tracks on here, and I especially love "Dad Vibes," so I can't say I got nothing out of this. I'd personally skip any song that has an acoustic, though.
Who knew it could take just a few chords on an acoustic guitar to captivate me? Well, to be fair, Pat, while not technically the best vocally, packs so much emotion behind each word that it cuts through and makes each of these tracks something to remember. Highly recommended, especially for those wanting to get into folk punk.
More lowkey than I was expecting, but neat nonetheless. Got a helluva groove to it, and I really love the way the song progresses. 'Tis a good time; give it a listen.
