Biffy Clyro - A Celebration of Endings

DRAG

This is some of the blandest alt rock I’ve heard in 2020. Any attempts at aggression are kneecapped by clean, overprocessed production, and the moments where the band reach for arenas sound like something your religious friend who only listens to Christian music would recommend because he heard you like rock. It’s cool that Biffy Clyro are attempting to reflect the times, but it’s hard for that to come across in music that sounds either stuck in the past or just painfully uninspired.
