This album is a complete mess. I give Cudi for trying something new and putting effort in it, and there are some really great songs in here but the Beavis and Butt-Head skits can ruin them and it is a really long record
The production and lyrics are top notch for the most part of the record. A man who finds out that he really has no friends and the people who say they are his friends and who love and adore him are fake, either because it's their job, they want something from him or they only see him through a computer screen.
There's really nothing else that can be said about TPAB. This album has everything you would want for a Kendrick Lamar album. The more you play it the more you understand all the hidden secrets and messages, lyrics are top notch, great production and the message is great. The fact he was able to be so vulnerable and talk about what he talked about in this album just makes it so much more then a regular album. The themes about imperfection, generational trauma, and not being defined by your past actions makes this a must hear.
