VNV Nation is a futurepop project that might be one of the biggest acts in the entire scene and what makes it stand out so much is the voice of ronan harris. Compared to most futurepop that has very monotone singers his warm voice stands out so much and gives it an emotional edge over most and just like with the Birthday Massacre, they seem to very much keep things safe and there is not much else to say.
I heard silence speaks before the album came out and honestly a lot of songs sound like this exact song which makes some parts kinda predictable plus i feel like mixing ronans voice with these bombastic and loud synthlines isnt the play. It feels like their sounds clash against each other in a not so enjoyable way. Im usually not the ballad guy but in this albums case the best moments are those where its quiet and ronan gets to sing and no blaring synth is Interrupting it.
Other than that i honestly dont have much to say, its sold VNV Material that has its issues but they dont detract from what you know about these guys
