for my 500th review on this website, I thought I'd review something that's truly spectacular. This 2011 instrumental hip-hop release from the ever elusive Korean artist "ATIVAN COREA." This record is just so, astronomically ahead of its time and I still struggle to understand how someone managed to make this in 2011. Some super sick hardcore electronic music pulling sounds from harsh-noise and such to make such a unique atmosphere. Funny cuz I actually found this EP with the "Crunkcore" tag on bandcamp and its like not even remotely close to fitting that descriptor. Despite some awkward flows from Spizzy and company at some points, the production, vocals, features, and hooks are all point. Fitted Jeans is fucking outstanding didn't expect smth that good. Track 3 kinda sucks tho, that beat is so stripped back bare bones with the weakest Spizzy performance on the project. Holy shit lmao, this was MUCH better than I was expecting. Production is insane, and the screams are some of the best in crunkcore PERIOD. The hooks are fucking INSANE the weakest part is the lyrics which can get a bit *too* toxically masculine for my taste, namely Fudgin Feggots, Sex Fiend, and I'm Fine which all aged horribly just stink like SHIT its sooo lame.

The Vantana Row s/t is their most traditionally hip-hop project by extension makes it a really damn good crunkcore album. One of the more non-traditional crunkcore albums that trends toward modern forms of hip-hop with the booming 808, but the synth production screams chiptune and scene. Crunkcore secondary tag on RYM is crazy, wish these songs were longer cuz this shit rips. Only weakness is how nearly everything feels like a snippet I really do wish these songs got more developed. I love the production and her screams are sooooo good. Production especially is a highlight the beats here are sooooo fucking sick.
