Truly pales in comparison to their fantastic debut record from 2024. Friko are best when they're loud, when their cathartic anthems feel like they can fill stadia. 23 minutes of “Tongue Tied” by Grouplove and “Sleepyhead” by Passion Pit impressions. Not bad, just entirely unoriginal
I want to LOVE this, but i honestly dont think it raises the bar at all compared to a lot of the great Windmill music that has come out over the last decade or so. Choir is great and I loved seeing all of those names in the credits, but i just dont care for Cameron Picton much.

"I agree on every level. Je T’aime is one of the best songs of the year. His emotional turmoil saying “Je T’aime and I don’t care” is mirrored by the dense and cacophonous production. Truly beautiful"
