if there's one album that i would recommend to anyone to listen to- whether they're a seasoned music pro or a causal listener, it's this one. i'm sure by now you've heard many things about how great and genre-breaking this album is, how it broke all expectations and made radiohead one of the greatest modern bands of all time, how 12 sets of tracks all flow incredibly well and each one a classic on it's own, how it's a surreal foreshadowing of the digital and information age where we have become ... read more

Pros: Fresh, Invigorating and Intoxicating; Joji expands on his creativity and showcases his talent in bigger and more concise display on Nectar, expanding on his R&B and Pop outputs by implementing a new stylistic change that's fruitful and seductive; The album has a stronger core and defined self compared to Joji's previous works, in which they felt more loose and inconsistent this one is luckily more cohesive and fully structured and you can tell Joji has taken his time throughout this ... read more

Pros: Majestic, Grand and Epic; In the past decades Sufjan has graced us with some of the best albums to come out during that time, from the graceful and epic journey of 2005's Illinois to 2010's futuristic electronica The Age of Adz to the minimalistic and soft feel of 2015's Carrie and Lowell, and now finally we have reached 2020 and with it has come The Ascension, Sufjan's most ambitious record yet that blends the maximalist electronics of Age of Adz with the introspectiveness and ... read more

Pros: Lush, Atmospheric and Uplifting. Fleet Foxes take a more optimistic and peaceful turn with Shore, an album that sees them take a more simple turn whilst still regaining the same introspectiveness and poetic energy as their previous works; This truly feels like an autumn record with it's shining and hopeful nature that hardly feels old and gets better with every listen, the mixture of Indie Folk and Chamber Pop work seamlessly well here in it's romantic nature that sees Fleet Foxes take a ... read more

pros: exciting, peculiar and complex. The Don Caballero record is a math rock and post-hardcore mix that's mainly filled with instrumentals of the progressive and dense variety, it's sharp, technical and precise with the uncommon time signatures and changes in tempo, creating an invigorating atmosphere where the sounds are thrusted in a dynamic and chaotic manner; feels like a lucid trip but with hyper awareness, all showcased through the eccentric usage of the instrumentals, from the hypnotic ... read more
