Danny Brown was a good feature to have on this JPEGMAFIA album.
Peggy went off here; as per usual, and Danny Brown complements the album well
I'm so tired of Drake at this point. I am undoubtedly going in extremely biased between his recent nonstop output and the length of this album. This is 23 songs of Drake. Not only that, but a Drake that seems to have run out of gas. Not a lot to say. Not inventive, not fun, not creative. It's boring. Not really enjoyable to me.

Probably Travis' best in my eyes, one of the best from rap this year as well. A lot of interesting ideas here, slightly spotty execution but overall done very well
I like this. Been watching Tecca since ransom as many have, but his output has been spotty to say the least. This project feels much more focused and concise than anything else in his discography. Production full of energy, and Tecca on his usual style at this point but it works well for his target audience. Would love to see expansion from the formula after this, because he seems to be doing about as well as he can with what he's given himself here.

Trippie Redd was an artist I looked to for great music for a long time, because he's just someone you can tell has it in him to make something amazing. The style and range in his vocals is incredible when used correctly. Even in 2024, I'm confident that if he had the motivation and drive to put effort into the music he makes, he could be great. ALLTY3 was as close as he ever got, vocally, instrumentally, cohesively, lyrically. ALLTY3 is all the proof I need that Trippie has the ability to be ... read more
Short and Sweet, but not lacking in content or entertainment. These are some of Denzel Curry's most exciting songs to date and i can't get enough. That alongside Kenny's awesome production create something really great here, and definitely a top 2 project from Denzel Curry in my eyes.

Some songs are full of energy and excitement, but the others are a drag to get through, or just flat out annoying at times. The ideas and production style to be found here are really great, which has been proven by the influence of this album on oncoming artists recently, but I think it's way too bloated and confused to make a lasting impression on me personally. I can understand why people love it but it's too long with too little keeping me intrigued personally.

Big step up from SOFUBI, and probably my favourite from 93. Interest has dwindled with following releases, but the sound did wonders for me last year
I really like a few of the ideas here. Felt very experimental, in a bad way. Like 93 threw everything at the wall just testing out creating whatever they felt like. The product doesn't come out well, and has a lot of material to cut, but if perfected, the good elements could make for something really enjoyable for me.

with the emo pop/emo rap wave, Aries contributes with a collection of simple, yet solid and entertaining tracks. Anyone who loved the late 2010's emo rap wave should've loved this album as it's some of the most solid material from that time

Solid project, but lacking the emotion and personality of the last album for the most part, not reaching the heights of WELCOME HOME. Still has some good, or even great songs but this album is much less consistent and feels more phoned in / uninspired compared to the prior. Wouldn't say it's a major step down and Aries still has a good foundation to build off of here, just a misstep if anything.

I was scared to listen to this album, because I knew there was no way it kept up the quality of Tadow the whole way through. Though I was right, I don't walk away disappointed. Lady Lady still brings a nice, smooth, unique sound to the table, mixing elements of jazz with some alt r&b, and hip-hop. Although I'm not in love with all or even most of what's on this album, the highs in a song like Tadow can't be understated. Even aside from that, it's a nice listening experience that's never a ... read more
What happened here? Why have 6 songs disappeared, and the remaining songs have been sped and pitched up all weird??? I miss listening to this album so much, and now i cant find it anywhere...
Criminal to me how so few people have taken the time to listen to this album, or anything else by Wishlane. This album to me feels like a properly constructed, more creative and confident sound that a lot of smaller artists from the 'hyperpop' scene have been trying to make for years now. ... read more
Really great album that I find myself coming back to consistently. The sound here is something I feel that Quadeca has been slowly working towards for years and it realizes itself on this album. There's not only a theme, but a full on narrative story being told on this album, largely attributed to coping with grief. The pure serenity I feel walking down a quiet, dimly lit street on a snowy winter night with this album in my ears is close to an unmatched experience as I might ever get. If ... read more
Brakence has been a personal favourite of mine for a few years now and nothing changes with Hypochondriac. Absolutely in love with his unique blend of sounds, home-grown instrumentals and mix-matched vocal style. Just about everything this album has to offer is great / excellent to me, but there are a few flaws I can't ignore despite my personal bias. Specifically track 2 and 7 aren't the strongest showings to me. The outros on some of the songs (or the middle part of introvert); though they ... read more
