mgk - mainstream sellout
0

This album made me more depressed than I thought I could be. The instruments are clearly programmed. At least on the last one they weren't. Didn't think he could become more unlikeable but he did it.

To give this thing anything higher than a 0 is being too nice. I wanna know how much his label paid those critics to give it a good review. Must be nice to openly lie for money. Even my gf who loves MGK hates this thing

The Gentle Men - The Evolution of Tears
82

Genuinely really enjoy the tracks here. I’m usually the last person to want to listen to a comedy album.

VCTMS - Vol. IV Numb The Ache
89

VCTMS is from my area they are next up in the metal scene. I firmly believe that this will be the last album they release unsigned. They are a force to be reckoned with. Seeing them live has only made me love their work even more.

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha
100

There will never be a better game than Minecraft, and there will never be a better game soundtrack than Minecraft’s

Beartooth - Below
92

This was already going to compete with ERRA for the best album of 2021, may get higher for me or it might stay the same

ERRA - ERRA
95

Possibly album of the year, Vanish Canvas is a masterpiece

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
100

Probably the best Pink Floyd album in my opinion. Wish You Were Here is imo the best song ever written.

HAWK - Tolerance's Paradox
82

Great EP, no real weak spots. Can’t wait to hear more

Spanish Love Songs - Brave Faces Everyone
89

An album that fits with the fears and realities of growing up and realizing that the world sucks and all everyone is doing is just getting by.

Shinedown - The Sound of Madness
67

It’s not bad, I am just not personally a fan of the singers voice. I can see why this is so loved. I would like it much better if the country twang wasn’t in the voice.

Shadow of Intent - Melancholy
91

One of the best deathcore records I know of, the 11 minute closer is so epic it feels like it’s only 4. I recommend this album to people who enjoy metal in the slightest. It is still deathcore so it’s not for everyone of course. But, if you like heavy shit this is it.

A Day To Remember - You're Welcome
NR

Damn elitists wanna ruin this one. Take the album for what it is, and it’s solid

Wage War - Pressure
90

Wage War evolve in the right direction on Pressure. They add catchy choruses and still have the heavy factor that you expect from this band.

Green Day - Revolution Radio
93

I was getting back into rock and metal when this album came out and it’s been a favorite of mine. It sucks that this is sandwiched between the trilogy and FOA. It doesn’t get the love it deserves I’m my opinion.

Whitechapel - The Valley
97

The only song I have any complaint about is Doom Woods and that is still a song I really don’t mind hearing at all. Whitechapel really expanded their sound on songs like Hickory Creek and Third Depth. This is something I come back to often and it never disappoints.

Green Day - American Idiot
98

Perfect album except that We Are The Waiting drags on a little. I still enjoy the song but when listening to this album as a whole I always wish that was shorter.

mgk - Tickets To My Downfall

Bloody Valentine is tolerable maybe once every 6 months. If this is the future of rock, rock is going to be dead soon. This album would be a great torture device at Guantanamo Bay. That might be a punishment too inhumane.
