Architects created from a place of pain and grieving when creating this album. Tom Searle’s impact on everyone in the band shows because of how personal this album is. It is just something you have to listen to and analyze to understand. R.I.P Tom Searle
It’s almost impossible for me to choose if this album or “What The Dead Men Say” is my favorite record of all time.
The follow up to the Magnum Opus of Architects “Holy Hell” really falls short. Annoying choruses, bad guitar tones, and awful drum sounds make this a huge chore to listen through. The best song on this record would be the weakest on their previous records. I was very excited for this one, the singles scared me but I stayed optimistic. I was truly disappointed. My favorite album from my favorite band. This is a no skip album for me. Ever since Alex Bent joined Trivium the band has been on fire. I never get disappointed by this album whenever I hear anything from it.
