Marina's fourth record, as a fellow fan of hers, is a mayor disappointment hidden behind some watered down synth-pop production —that could belong to a Broods latin-influenced hypothetical record— full of cliché lyrics with some occasional pleasant tracks.
Favorite tracks: Handmade Heaven, Orange Trees, End Of The Earth and Emotional Machine.
Least favorite track: You.
Amber Bain, on her nearly impecable debut album, creates a cinematic landscape full of heartfelt and sincere lyrics, that could belong to an old diary of hers —due to how intimate Bain's vocals sound throughout the whole record— blended with some minimalistic and glitchy production making a very enjoyable and emotional ride.
Favorite tracks: All of them.
Least favorite track: None.
Aurora, on the first part of her sophomore proyect, makes a stunningly beautiful and powerful attempt evolving and showing growth from her debut album, but still embracing her old style with her characteristic and captivating lyricism.
Favorite tracks: Forgotten Love, Gentle Earthquakes, All Is Soft Inside, Churchyard and Soft Universe.
Least favorite track: It Happened Quiet.
