Vulfpeck - Fugue State
82

I discovered this EP through my bass teacher, and it’s truly exquisite, especially on an instrumental level, but the vocals are also very pleasant.

Annalisa - MA IO SONO FUOCO
65

Lucio Battisti - Una giornata uggiosa
76

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
93

I love how the bars feel like confessions, sometimes spat in your face, sometimes whispered. It’s this constant play between power, intimacy, and vulnerability that creates flawless narrative flow, with a sound structure that builds and unravels in perfect sync.
This is pure cinematography!

Not for Radio - Melt
86

when i say that music should be able to create alternative worlds that mirror an imaginary reality, this is the sort of thing I have in mind.

Frah Quintale - Amor Proprio
66

pezzi prefe: occhi diamanti e gelato

Sarah Toscano - MET GALA
61

In generale è un ... read more

Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
68

It’s definitely a project that Travis might like, and therefore it’s not exceptional. On a sound level, there are many references to the past: George Michael obviously, but also Fleetwood Mac and the Jackson 5. I find the productions very interesting, especially Shellback’s bass lines and the instrumentals that lean more toward pop rock.

What i noticed while listening to the album is that almost every song recalled other already well-known tracks and, since this feeling ... read more

Doja Cat - Vie
78

Very enjoyable, especially kudos to the funk motifs that embellish this 80s pop version of Doja.

X-Cetra - Stardust
81

How did a group of eleven year old friends manage to do this?! Lo-fi, repetitive lyrics, childish vocals, yet somehow it all creates a certain charm, hinting at that musical vein that today features artists like Smerz and Coco & Clair Clair.

[Long Goodbye]
76

This indie rock release straight from Japan is a pleasant discovery. The guitars are awesome!

Ernia - PER SOLDI E PER AMORE
45

Lola Young - I'm Only F**king Myself
73

There’s a tangible uniqueness to what Lola Young offers musically, but somehow she still feels like a diamond in the rough.

The Favors - The Dream
77

They were trying to recreate a specific aesthetic, and I think they pulled it off. In some tracks, they strongly evoke that 70s Fleetwood Mac rock sound, reworked in a more modern style that also aligns with Finneas’s solo project.
Curiously, the album’s cover replicates that of Buckingham Nicks (1973), which, on the very same day, has been released on digital platforms for the first time.

Pino Daniele - Vai mo
87

Clairo - Immunity
78

This lazy bedroom pop keeps drawing me in. Maybe it’s the weakest of her works in terms of vocal production and dynamic structure, but there’s a soul beneath it and a depth in her writing that turn imperfection into something pure; a simplicity in which it’s just as easy to recognize yourself.

Benjamin Booker - LOWER
90

For me, this is one of 2025’s most underrated albums.
I’m writing this review so anyone who missed it and feels like giving it a listen can catch up.

Michael Jackson - Off the Wall
98

Boredom has no business here.

Wolf Alice - Blue Weekend
86

The movie they made for this album is incredible. The music itself is already evocative, but the correspondence they created with the visual art perfectly fuels the underlying concept of the project. The deeper i go into this band, the less i find anything wrong with them.

Parcels - LOVED
85

It’s a pure and fleeting kind of loving and being loved, an embracing serenity, a disarming devotion, but also a fragile closeness and a goodbye that tastes of salty air.
Summer has come to an end…

Thinking back to those funky, high-energy singles, the album opens living up to its promises, with bass lines that feel like poetry in motion.
But the real magic is in its unexpected touch of melancholy; tracks like ‘safeandsound’ and ‘sorry’ echo ... read more
