this album felt very nice... (Denzel owned that verse.
anyway the vibe was very much soothing. could've slept through from how smooth and lulling the whole thing was. but of course... IT'S NO BETTER THAN OFFLINE 🔥🔥
most of my issues with this record stems from how much more this album could've been. even felt messy at some points; nonetheless, still a very pleasant ride indeed!)
i'm so sorry... (i couldn't stop comparing them to Slint after hearing that Breadcrumb Trail riff...)
they were literally back... (i love this band oh so much)
incredibly encapsulating and riveting. no matter what the user/critic score is, this is still music composed by none other than GY!BE. yes, the records made post-hiatus, excluding ADBA, aren't as punchy, grand, theatrical nor cinematic as their pre-hiatus material, yet they still are capable of composing music with the feats aforementioned. the sounds they made matured, that's really what i think about them.
they're no longer the sounds so overwhelming in emotions capable of disheveling the ... read more
fellas... i might be in love with this band.
massive thanks to @getaroomyoufuck for recommending the performance and sharing the archive.org link of it!!
tonight, i mourn. the band did it. with their terrestrial instruments, they've shifted us through the inner stratosphere of the other world more bleaker than ours. i was insensible, yet ecstatic. we were all in the air; many shrieked beside me, many bellowed, many yelled with more ecstacy than i had as we were falling through the dense plume clouds reeking of ammonia.
quite possibly ... read more
is this your concept of everything? i can't tell whether i would want to be in with it or out.
(84 > 97): nothing exists.
(introducing yourself to Björk by listening to this headlong isn't what i would recommend.
as much as how up-front the sound of this thing seems to be, it's the subtlety that makes this album essential, in my opinion! basically an improvement of 'Post' in all fronts. goodness me...)
what... the hell just happened? anyway, i really want to live inside this album.
(this was an absolute mess; a charming one to say the least. it's not too messy where one could deem it overwhelming, nor incomprehensible, nor cathartic. it was simply meditative.
unfamiliar electronic instruments surround your stereo and lull you into this state of openness. there's no use making sense of it, the sound does it for you, so might as well let it do its thing... and goodness me was it pleasant.

how... how did ye found a way to improve his production...
(the production is definitely the highlight of this project in my opinion; absolute bliss front to back. the lyrics were straightforward, but i suppose the charm of The College Dropout was the variety of the lyrics it was composed of, in my opinion!
overall, a very nice and laid-back medium to be entertained with! ironic how this record seems to be just as personal as the previous record... anyway wow! kanYe really was relentless back ... read more
i'm very thankful i still have my taste for hip hop (this has the potential to change someone's life.
i mean... i'm speechless. this was phenomenal; from ye's flawless production to his--and the features'--witty and creative lyricism that varies throughout the whole track list: i went from laughing at ye's PhD line to being gut-punched with that imagery of 'fitting three cousins on the same bed' on 'Family Business.'
and the production? best i could describe it is Kanye produced it. this ... read more
this released me from my melancholic and desperate angst. i'm exhausted, but I'd be lying if i were to say i'm not thankful despite this feeling being temporary. (to the band members of System of a Down, thank you.
although i am a bit worried for my eyes; my eyelids wouldn't stop twitching and i went cross eyed multiple times.)
the lyrics may touch the hearts of those confused and in limbo; its instrumentals caresses your mind to assure you of your comfort. this'll be our comfort place for now.
i didn't realize for 47 minutes, i was in tranquil and calm limbo. i miss this album already... (and it's only been a minute since i've finished listening!)
i might change my rating later on considering i listened to this song via osu!
(but goodness me... a song that i learned from osu, and enjoyed?! will soon check out this artist, definitely!)
alright, fine. i'll find the need to sleep.
(After reading A Megalomaniac's--the user, i'm not calling anybody anything--review, i thought maybe by being personal and open in this site would grant me a bit of relief. I guess a warning that this might suck/ruin your day for the reasons being: this review's pretty gloomy or the fact that you've just read, or might read, a young high school kid's rant, so discretion! You don't have to read anything below! So here, I'll type out what I think of ... read more
the greatest to ever do it, the greatest to ever do it, the greatest to ever do it: 'Godspeed You! Black Emperor' really is my favorite band of all time.

it's pretty chill! (there's some really incredible material; mostly chill though! great album for trips in my opinion)
this... no... this is the greatest thing i've ever set my ears upon... (...i'm really sorry, but i really can't say anything about this album. it's beyond phenomenal... for me that is)
