I mean it's a fucking classic. Got at least 3-4 songs I would consider legendary.
Fairest Wear Boots best song btw.
Favs: Fairies Wear Boots, Paranoid, War Pigs, Iron Man, Electric Funeral
Least fav: Planet Caravan
That bass 😩😩😩
I really like this, it's really funky and again the bass is fucking amazing.
DUDE MUSE ARE GONNA MAKE A GOOD ALBUM AGAIN, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT
My first full Vince Staples album and I'm impressed!
First of all, I LOVE the bass on this album. It's so fuzzy and it just sounds so good. I think some of the songs do sound a bit safe and generic, and I would've loved to hear Vince experiment a bit more especially with the lyrics and topics being so heavy. Speaking of the lyrics, he does not hold back here. He's very blunt and brings a lot of energy.
I'll have to give it a few more listens to see how it grows on ... read more
One of the wackiest, funniest, hard-hitting things I've ever listened to.
There's a couple of random ass songs here that stick out compared to the rest (Summer Romance mainly) but they are so good.
Speaking of Summer Romance, that sax is so fucking GOOODDDDDD.
Favs: New Skin, Glass, Summer Romance, Deep Inside, Favourite Things, Segue 1.
Least favs: Magic Machine
System Of A Down discography review #5:
There's no WAY you guys think this is worse then Mezmerize???
The final album from System, and it's a good note to end on. My main issue with Mezmerize was how cringy some of the songs were, and thankfully Hypnotize has a lot less of that. This contains some of System's hardest songs, and also some of their most melodic.
U-Fig is the perfect example of this imo.
The only mid song here is She's Like Heroin. Vicinity of Obscenity gets ... read more

Man, what the fuck? I remember this being a lot better.
First of all, BYOB is probably their most overrated song. I do not understand the love for it, there are WAY better songs on here.
The main problem I have with this album is that they try TOO hard to be quirky. They were funny and witty with their previous albums, but here it seems so forced and it's so cringe worthy.
However, the more serious songs on here are so, so much better. The last ... read more

And now, the corny SOAD food jokes start rolling in...
Probably the most hated System Of A Down album, Steal This Album! was a bunch of leftover songs that they didn't put on Toxicity.
And I think you can kinda hear it. It's still really good but compared to the last 2 albums, there is a big difference in quality. It just doesn't stand out as much to me.
Overall it's still really REALLY good and would be a lot of other bands' ... read more

RIGHT HERE IN HOLLYWOOOODDDDDDDDD
DESERVES ALL THE PRAISE. First System album I heard and fell in love with around 5-6 years ago, and it's still just as good as when I first heard it. For 2001 it still sounds so fresh, and the messaging and topics in the album is unfortunately still true (even more so nowadays).
Favs: All (but especially Forest, Prison Song, ATWA, Deer Dance and Science)

System Of A Down discography review #1:
I'm seeing System (AND QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE <333) live soon, so I thought what better time to start reviewing System then now.
This is my favourite System Of A Down album. Consistent bangers, has my favourite SOAD song (know). It just has this raw feeling I don't get with any of their other albums. Only complaint I have is that Mind isn't as good as the rest of the songs here, but it's still VERY good.
Favs: All (but ... read more
You can kinda tell there was tension during the making of this album, it just feels like there's not as much energy compared to their previous albums. I mean there's a year difference between this and Welcome to Sky Valley and I think there's a HUGE difference in both quality and energy.
I think some of the songs here drag on for too long, which is unusual for Kyuss. I mean Space Cadet and Gardenia are 7 minutes, and they're 2 of my favourite Kyuss songs. Also, the singer ... read more
Really is just that good, still think Ain't It Funny is the best music video oat
Probably my favourite Devon album. Only complaints are that Bully goes on for way too long, and some of the lyrics on some of the songs are kinda corny. Like especially on the first half of Bully, he sounds like Eminem which I don't know how to feel about.
But still this is such a good album, some of the beats here are his best from both Devon and Peggy (especially Montobello High School Prom, The Power of Madonna and Trophy Kids.)

Like Incognito Mode - 9
Caretaker's Grandson - 9
Yeah forget my old review, this is PERFECT. There's like 3-4 songs I would consider to be some of the best songs of all time. And the entire album is full of this nostalgic, dreamy but dark feeling. Maybe I'm tweaking but some of the songs give me Alice in Wonderland vibes.
Favs: All (but especially headboard, porcelain slightly, vpn, benadryl submarine, stock car and clapping seal)

What the fuck happened?
The run from Rebound to Flame Emoji is insane.
Never thought I'd see current day Peggy with a yellow score.
First of all, I gotta talk about the elephant in the room which is his rapping. For like half this album, Peggy has this lyrical spiritual miracle triplet flow and it gets so boring after a couple of songs. Apart from the song with that Kirk verse, I really don't remember ANYTHING he said. Also I can barely hear him on some of the songs, the instrumentals are usually a lot louder then he is.
The guitars on some of these ... read more
